One of the highly negelected space in a HDB unit is the service yard. Spruce the space up with sleek windows and doors, and add a table where you could fold the laundry! A once can’t-bother-to-dress-it-up space could now look all spiffy!

In a narrow entryway, use full height mirrors to amplify the sense of space, and to reflect light. Add mood and drama with ambience lights and a mirror that is tinted bronze or grey.

If mirror like yesterday is not your thing, then consider build-up cabinet along the entryway that could be used to stow away shoes and umbrella. Use light and airy colours like white and probably one that have a textured surface for an interesting finish.

An open concept kitchen with kitchen peninsula that double up as both storage and dining area. It is also great when you are having guests, and they could linger around the peninsula while you are prepping in the kitchen.

Did you know that the size of the tiles affects the outlook of your toilet? Using big tiles in small places makes the space appear bigger than it actually is. And, if you are particular about grouting, large tiles require less grouting, thus makes for easier maintenance.

While having an open concept, it is possible to provide clear segregation between kitchen and living room space. By using the same neutral palette, it helps to unify the home theme keeping the look consistent in these different spaces.

Shaker style cabinets have came back in style, and would lent a nice homely feel to an interior. Using soft grey which complemented the wood tones of the flooring and table nicely, the full height kitchen cabinets give the home owners ample storage while still looking neat and sharp with all the linear lines.

Instead of doing a half-height fixed panel windows, how about bringing it all the way down to almost the floor? It makes the space look alot bigger and brighter, and sleek at the same time. And you would never go wrong with black, white and marble!

If you love the opulence of marble, why not take it up from the floor all the way up to the wall. Keen on the look, but worried about the costs? Cheaper alternative to get the same look is to use homogenous tiles, or laminate that mimics marble design or a wallpaper.

Black is such a stark and bold colour that when used as your carpentary, everything else have to be subdued. So we kept the design sleek and simple, with no door handles. For contrast, light coloured flooring is proposed so as to introduce a little lightness in the space.

Honeycomb tiles are a statement on its own. Keep everything else sleek and clean and let the honeycomb pattern stand out. Here, we proposed the use of white tiles for the wall, to contrast the grey floor which is one of the easiest colour to maintain.

If you find honeycomb tiles to be too outlandish, consider going classic with subway tiles in a classic argyle arrangement. Create contrast with black framed mirror that would modernise this timeless design.

In this third installment of a series of toilet proposals, this marble subway tiles toilet come with sitting ledge. Perfect for those of us who likes to take a slow bath. Also, when seated, you would be able to scrub your legs and feet better and cleaner. We added ledge too above the water closet as part of the small detailing in this hotel standard toilet.

Here’s a completed project comprising of a platform bed with storage space. We included lights on the headboard as mood lighting, which also illuminate the space enough in case the owners would like to read in bed.

A customised TV console on top of a platform with the same laminate finish. To keep wiring and set top boxes out of sight, we created grooves in the centre of the console so that you could use your remote to control the gadgets without needing to open the door.

These soft pastel hues in the kitchen and dining is probably one of the most soothing colour palette for an interior. Pair that with marble subway tiles as backsplash, and you’d get a pretty astounding kitchen area.

This galley style kitchen is kept sleek and simple, and monochromatic so that the subway tiles would be the focal point in this space. The linear looking cooker hood is in keeping with the clean lines that we designed for this kitchen.

One of the most important discussion that we will have is the kitchen cabinet compartments. It is good to let us know your lifestyle and kitchen needs so that we could propose the most adequate storage compartments for you.
