Does anyone know the name of the song that is played in DBS's Life is Beautiful commercial?
The lyric goes something like this:

in the morning i feel the breeze the sun watches over me, water comes crashing in or is it just me but it feels aliveopen your eyes and see
life is beautiful...

i think its called So Nice (Summer Samba) by Bebel Gilberto, if u r referring to the ad tat was often screened during commercial breaks in between Wheel of Fortune (local version)...

Thanks for the reply, but I'm refering to the other DBS commercial where there seems to be a marriage of some kind, wasn't paying much attention to the details of the commercial but have been looking high and low for the song...

Me too, searching thru the websites high and low for this song. What Chlorin has mentioned was the earlier commercial by DBS Cashline with the 'Jazzy' mood.

The recent commercial by DBS bank seemed to be done in Hongkong with the couple getting married. Anyone who have seen this commercial and knew the title of the song... pls help us...

me also interested to know tat song...i love the song...it makes me think Life can really be beautiful with our loved ones around us. But of coz their expenditure is way above the average lifetyle...who can really afford their lifestyle?? wow yacht, grand wedding, etc... i can drool oni...lol.....

Hi Trihok,

I don't think the song is available commercially. The song may have been specifically composed for the advertisement and I don't recognise the voice of the singer. Don't take my word for it as my guess could be wrong.

How about try calling or e-mailing the customer service of DBS and see if they can tell you the availability of the song?

you may wish to contact Public Affairs and Advertising dept at DBS. You shd get their contact in the tel directory. Ask for 'life is beautiful' jingle.

likely its contract advertising firm is doing it for them...

I called DBS before and was told it's a special song written just for the commercial. Was told DBS is recording the song into a CD and will be availble soon. But not sure how much it will cost. If you are interested, can leave down your name and contact with them. i've left mine;)

just call 1800-1111111 and press 1 for dbs credit line and speak to the operator. i think anyone will do. can't remember the operator's name who serve me.

i love the gown too especially the crystal at the bodice. My guess is it's from Bridal Veil. Michelle Hui Min is very good with crystal.

My 2 cents worth - i think the gown is from Kai coz I've seen a very similar one in either a previous issue of Female Brides or Her World Brides - shld be late last yr's issue. On one of the copies, it is featured on the front cover page.

Check it out if u have last yr's bridal mags...

Sorry for late reply… I was outstation. Nov bride is right its vera wang … but I think that gown is just so so… it could be the lightings that makes it more appealing. Personally I prefer gowns from kai bridal.

That song is not for sale commercially its specially composed by an Australian compose for this ad & it’s not released for sale.

I thought the guy with the bicycle scene was shot in Hongkong. Never expect the couple's scene was done in Hyatt S'pore's ballroom. The commercial was tastefully done.

Vera Wang is a high-end American designer, available only at the Link and I think her gowns are available at $6k and upwards. Why not get a local designer to copy? It's a bustier design with beading detail at the top, right?

Actually, I was told that the prices start at 10k for a simple a-line with no details. But of course, part of the price goes towards the superior material and cut they use. The rest go towards the brand.

it's "I believe" but if you do a search on the Internet, you may get duplicates as there is a Japanese song having the same title.

It's a beautiful song, isn't it? Have you seen the movie?

Thank you so much!!! I got my CD today. For all interested, I filled up a feedbackform in the bank's website and they responded in 3 days! Now I am wondering if I should use it for my wedding...but scared too commercial and like doing free publicity for teh bank but song really quite nice leh...(head big big now...)

u gotta have a winamp player installed or windows media player.

go to www.download.com to download ur desired player

For me, i prefer winamp as its more popular & user-friendly.
