Finally up on our blog! We love how Jin and Serene's wedding reflects their dynamism and energy; from the strong vibrant colours in the styling and florals, to the energetic and spontaneous bridesmaids and groomsmen, everything is just so them. And of course, who can forget the array of customised desserts (baked by their folks, and is worth every single calorie!), their gorgeous multi-tier wedding cake, and all the love and joy from their dearest folks! Seems like yesterday that we were in Faroe Islands, terrorising these cute handsome looking creatures! On a side note we are currently on a short break, spending some family time in South Korea. We will reply to your messages and emails as soon as we can!

2018 has been one heck of an adventure, and our hearts are full of gratitude to each and every couple who gave us the artistic freedom to craft, and do what we love. We are truly humbled to have journeyed with all you guys (couples and industry folks!), from intimate weddings back home, to adventures faraway. It surely wasn't easy juggling admin/planning, shoots, edits, and personal/family/friends time, having spent almost half the year away from home! But every time we look back at the photos, we are reminded of the stories that inspire us, and also the heartfelt connections between lovers and their kindred souls. All the sweat and toil are definitely well worth it, and onwards to more love and adventure in 2019! ☺ Happy new year to all you folks out there!
01/01 is always the laziest day of the year for us. Its a day where we have every rights (read: excuses ) to laze around, and accomplish nothing. In the name of the new year and Yu Li’s birthday, we can! Yesterday after dinner, I asked Yu Li what she wanted to do today. She said she wanted to cozy up at home and play overcooked. Needless to say, I said OKAY! This morning, I woke up as if by magic, drew the curtain for her to sleep in abit more, and prepared a supposedly soft and fluffy pancake spread for her. Although the pancakes turned out flat and dry, she still gobbled them down with a smile on her face. This is pure happiness for me, having found someone who is contented with doing/eating simple things on such a special day! Here’s a frame of her standing frozen, and all wrapped up in -14℃ weather just last week! Happy birthday to this yuli-tating girl, and can't wait to embark on more adventures with you this year!
Music, fun, love and joy were some of the things that took centerstage during A & C’s intimate wedding celebration. We have never seen wedding guests (read: their families and folks were so musically talented!) coming together to play, strum, sing and dance to such unstructured harmony. The whole mood of the celebration was just so festive and lively, and it was hard not to groove along to it! More moments from their wedding up on our blog (Link in bio)! Venue @dapaolosg
Jia Qing + Ying Ting // Be it revisiting familiar places or exploring new places together, there's always something waiting to be discovered The experience, the feeling, the very sense of adventure!
Embarked on our first trip of 2019 with our dear friends for a long overdue snowboarding adventure! As we grow older, it's been harder to plan trips with friends as everyone has their own schedules and commitments. We really cherish such a trip albeit a short one, chilling, eating, reconnecting with them, and also our heels and toes And we're totally digging Nick and Ruby's celebration today!
While taking some time off our screens this afternoon, we simply sat on the bench at the neighborhood garden and took a deeper look at the trees and greenery. As we stared harder, we spotted a pied triller, a long tailed shrike, and some black naped orioles. There's an unexplainable good feeling when we manage to spot these common, yet uncommon birds (amongst the usual crows, mynahs and sparrows). I guess we can draw parallels from this onto life, people, and perhaps photography. Gems and beauty are everywhere, like an oasis in the desert, we just have to be attentive, and look around for them! Gown @weddingcrafterssg

Congrats to these two on getting hitched today! It was definitely in our wildest dreams to shoot a road trip pre wedding adventure in Faroe Islands! We especially love how we all embraced spontaneity, and upheld the essence of a road trip adventure in every sense of the word; be it walking from one end of Svínoy Island to the other to catch our heli ride, saying hello to all the crazy-looking-sheep along the way, exploring unplanned locations, climbing up and down random hills, changing plans due to a broken ferry, ad-hoc invitation to a local family for tea (and a secret tour of the local church at Klaksvík!) and having many a meal at nondescript places (as most places were closed for winter!). Thank you Jun He and Emily for your trust in our craft and for bearing your vulnerable selves to allow us to be a small part of your intimate adventure ☺ More moments from their Faroe Islands adventure up on our blog! #therealneolyweds @junhehehehe @plasticbin Flowers @lizflorals

Roadside gem on the way to Gjógv, an oasis that we initially to miss due to time constraints. We woke up early that day to prepare packed lunches for our day trip to the island of Kalsoy. However, as fate would have it, a broken ferry resulted in a change of plans, and sent us on our way to Gjógv. On that day, we had the best weather, the best views of the mountains and the best home-made lunch. I guess it is really true that the best things happen when you least expect it

2018 came in a flash, and before we knew, it was 2019. Having deliberated on a review of 2017 for too long till the year came to a close, we made a promise to ourselves to do a review of 2018; a thorough one. Twenty eighteen had definitely been one heck of an adventure for us. As the momentum of the year end wedding season slowed, we dedicated time looking back on the year. The year unfolded in a mysterious way of sorts, bringing us through unforgettable adventures with all our couples, peers and folks. We wandered a little more, experimented a little more, laughed and teared a lot more, and learnt about ourselves even more. As we went through the photos, we were momentarily transported back to each and every wedding/adventure. We remember all the vivid times spent with each couple, the conversations we had, and the feeling of just being there. We were overwhelmed with all the emotions, interspersed with much after thoughts. Moments of joy and excitement energized our souls, while those emotional moments tugged at our heart strings. We could feel all the feelings in each photo, as if we were there again. At the end, we actually felt pretty exhausted, but our hearts full. It was as though we’ve been through all these weddings/adventures at one go. Nevertheless, it was definitely liberating, and worth every minute. For this is not just a beautiful summary, but a process of introspection, retrospection, affirming our beliefs in the things we do, and loving what we do more than ever. We look forward to what 2019 might hold for us, and we will be there to embrace every single moment! More moments from 2018 up on our blog (Link in bio)!

We were super ecstatic when Ray and Jenyce decided to do a post-wedding shoot in Croatia as part of their honeymoon. Captivated by the sights of Croatia ever since watching Game of Thrones, it felt really surreal to be physically there! Our fondness for this Balkan state grew as we travelled its length from Zagreb to Dubrovnik; with a detour across the sea to visit the beautiful island of Hvar. Its people, food, rugged coastline, pristine waters, acres of olive plantations, ancient towns, architectures, and sunsets along the Adriatic coast were simply mesmerising. There were times when we totally felt like the people of Kings Landing and Braavos!
What made this Croatia road trip really special was to be able to hang out with these two gentle souls, and be there to witness their nascent interactions with each other as newly weds. They were easy going, and ever thoughtful towards everyone around them. It was also really great that they were relaxed, and simply slowed down to take in the sights and sound of this country. We remember multiple instances where we sat at cafes by the sidewalk, ordered four macchiatos, chit chatted about anything under the sun, and of course the occasional beers and wines to end the day! That day in Melbourne with Benji and Mei Ying. These two have known each other for a decade, been together for close to 9 years, and married for nearly a year before they decided to do a shoot together. And now, they are awaiting the arrival of their little one! We can't be happier for them!
These two quirky and fun-loving food scientists opted for a non-traditional celebration with emphasis on food that they love (read artisanal coffee and ice cream, sous vide egg, tutu kueh, ondeh ondeh tarts and the list goes on...) Enroute to @thechapelsg we stopped by an old industrial estate for some photos. Them being them, they requested for photos that would not show their faces. So we said: "Okay, now turn around and face the wall" And they did! Styling @amperiansg
