Hi Molly, I'm currently using Lancome's UV Expert. It's SPF50+, pretty light after application and lasts the whole day.

Hi
we are not necessary to choose sunblock with a very high SPF, the main thing is if u go under sun, we have to re apply more often.

Do u know that every kids in New Zealand have to bring their sunblock to school??

My kids and I use Sunright® 35 Face and Body,
it's a sunblock with SPF 35, and for Face and Body, onlu $40, u can find it at
http://weightlosssupplement.mynuskin.com

choose a country SINGAPORE, then go
search for SUNRIGHT,

ANy more questions just email me at [email protected] OR call me at 91549478

thank u

anyone have a problem using sunblock- when i put my founddation, the sunblock comes off like dead skin. So annoying. In the end I skip sunblock. If I use japanese brand sunblock no such problem but have white face instead. Brands like loreal-very oily shiny face.

Is there no good brand that doesnt have such problems as above?

So it's either you use the peeling skin type of sunblock or the dead white face sunblock or have oily face sunblock.

Help!!!

Missha SPF35 PA++. It uses physical block so it doesn't clog pores. It has slight illuminators so it can cover slight blemishes and give the illusion of glowing skin.

I use it as a makeup-base to even out my complexion. Cost between $15-$20.

using Loreal anti dullness spf50 now, $19... quite light and non-oily. But the anti dullness still did not see the effect...

Hows the laneige active star sunblock Serene?

How to know if these products really helps to protect us from the sun?

thanks

Hi Sheauping

I'm using sunblock cum moisturise from Artistry. Not bad as I've got oily complexion but this does not have sticky feeling. Plus it has moisturiser in it.

I've tried a few over-the-counter sunblocks but they were too oily for my face and caused acne outbreak.

For the past 2 years, I've been using Derma-Rx Tinted Sunscreen SPF 30+ minus the grease and zits.

maya: no I am also another victim! i can feel little bits like being rubbed off when i put on foundation. eeks...maybe you should wait till the sunblock settles down first then apply the foundation?

Hmm... I have not experienced this peeling thingy as you described. Perhaps you do need to let the sunblock settle on your face first before applying the foundation. I do give some time between moisturiser, sunblock and base cream to set before layering on the foundation.

emmm, i always thought that sunblock is the last thing to apply as it is the one that blocks out UV? But it's strange to apply it on top of foundation/powder too. What a dilemma.

Hi Metta, sunblock is to be applied after moisturiser, before base cream then followed by foundation and the rest.

Hi grapey, I used to apply Lancome's UV Expert and now have switched to using Skinfood's Green Tea sunblock with SPF27++ and I must say it works beautifully on my sensitive skin.

Hi stepford - where do you get this Skinfood product? Did you react to Lancome's UV Expert? Oh no, I just bought a tube. Lots of people recommended it to me. Have not tried it yet.

Hi lastminute, I used Lancome's UV Expert for a while. It's suitable for my sensitive skin but I found it too costly for a tube of sunblock hence the switch. Skinfood is available at Marina Square, near Carl's burger joint.

I find that sunscreen is a must. Even under florscent lighting also got UV rays. But then the sunscreen i'm using is drying up my skin...any recommandation for a better sunscreen?

hello Tiara,

I like the current sun screen I'm using now, the texture very light, non thick & creamy. water based. it penetrated into the skin so fast, after that, feel non-greasy. from Japan, S$80 (organic plants)

moreover it's 2 in 1, moisturiser & sun screen (SPF 15), protect against UVA, UVB, UVC rays.

p/s: from the research, SPF 15 is good enough to prevent more than 90% of the UV rays. It commercial that mislead us the more SPF, it's better. in fact more will be > oily.

Definitely kose's sunblock!! Why?

I went boating recently in the afternoon. Applied kose facial sunblock all over my face and body except my back. After the boating trip, only my back was sun burnt so badly, the areas I applied sunblock to was perfectly intact. It's really amazing I swear!

I think kose only has 1 sunblock, it's a blue bottle with white cap. $47 I think in retail counters. =)
