we are not necessary to choose sunblock with a very high SPF, the main thing is if u go under sun, we have to re apply more often.
Do u know that every kids in New Zealand have to bring their sunblock to school??
My kids and I use Sunright® 35 Face and Body,
it's a sunblock with SPF 35, and for Face and Body, onlu $40, u can find it at

anyone have a problem using sunblock- when i put my founddation, the sunblock comes off like dead skin. So annoying. In the end I skip sunblock. If I use japanese brand sunblock no such problem but have white face instead. Brands like loreal-very oily shiny face.
Is there no good brand that doesnt have such problems as above?
So it's either you use the peeling skin type of sunblock or the dead white face sunblock or have oily face sunblock.

hmm.....i'm using Laneige Active Star sunblock...its SPF50++ n costs only $36 n i love it coz its light n not sticky or smelly like most others
recently they came out wif a improved range n my gf bot it, the texture is even lighter than the 1 i'm using now

I'm using sunblock cum moisturise from Artistry. Not bad as I've got oily complexion but this does not have sticky feeling. Plus it has moisturiser in it.

me using Lancome UV Expert DNA Shield SPF50+.. like it coz its not sticky too & very light lor.. but i think the price is kinda steep for such a small tube..

Am also using the Lancome one cos skylar recommend it to me.
It's good but expensive...will probably try the Laneige one after this.

I've tried a few over-the-counter sunblocks but they were too oily for my face and caused acne outbreak.
For the past 2 years, I've been using Derma-Rx Tinted Sunscreen SPF 30+ minus the grease and zits.

Hi stepford - where do you get this Skinfood product? Did you react to Lancome's UV Expert? Oh no, I just bought a tube. Lots of people recommended it to me. Have not tried it yet.

I like the current sun screen I'm using now, the texture very light, non thick & creamy. water based. it penetrated into the skin so fast, after that, feel non-greasy. from Japan, S$80 (organic plants)
moreover it's 2 in 1, moisturiser & sun screen (SPF 15), protect against UVA, UVB, UVC rays.
p/s: from the research, SPF 15 is good enough to prevent more than 90% of the UV rays. It commercial that mislead us the more SPF, it's better. in fact more will be > oily.

it gotta be fancl spf30+ sunblock.

my fav non sticky sunblocks that doubles up as a primer for my bb cream/foundation: Organic Ginger lily sunblock spf 50+++ n it comes in ROSE too. not on the website, have to ask the seller, limited in numbers i think.

Definitely kose's sunblock!! Why?
I went boating recently in the afternoon. Applied kose facial sunblock all over my face and body except my back. After the boating trip, only my back was sun burnt so badly, the areas I applied sunblock to was perfectly intact. It's really amazing I swear!
I think kose only has 1 sunblock, it's a blue bottle with white cap. $47 I think in retail counters. =)
