Hi,

Do you want to try places like museum? I had my wedding my Asian Civilisations Museum. They only rent out premises and you need to bring in your own caterer. I cater from Rasel Food and my package cover the booking of museum which I don't to liase myself. I spent about $70* per person including rental. I had buffet to break the traditional. Overall it was good compare to traditional wedding dinning. if you need more info can email me at [email protected]

Me & my wife actually looking for any hotel environment wedding, also due to we might book some rooms for some of our guests.

Is S$720nett to little for a wedding lunch @ hotel?

@ Xue:
we've read up a little on tang court.
However found that though price & package is attractive, but reviews aren't that good.

AKSZ, I dont think can get it from Grand Hyatt even a lunch. My friend booked there, quite exp, he said after ++ is more than $1k (I dont know whether he upgrade dishes or not). The rest I am not sure.

You may try Marriott or Cartlon. Lunch should be $700+ (but not sure $720nett can or not).

Hi Jess,

I'm also considering ACM as a venue for my wedding reception, with Rasel as the caterer. I've not recee ACM yet (gg down this Fri), but based on the quotes that they've sent me (on venue rental, marquee, etc) plus Rasel's cost, I thought it's quite expensive. May I know what were your arrangements (i.e. which room, no. of pax) for $70 per pax??

Thanks much!

Hi Applez12,

I'm also using Rasel for my wedding in ACM. I have seen their set-up at ACM. It's looks beautiful... My quotation is about $70+ too including booking of room and food.
They offer huge varity for buffet right? That's what I gotten for feedback. I'm arranging my sampling with them next week to settle on menu selection, how about you? Have you book with them?

hi eunice,

yup they've got great reviews so i do intend to book with them once i've confirmed ACM. But am still waiting for the "tong shu" for next yr before i confirm my wedding date, ACM told us last Friday that they're filling up fast... really hope we can still secure the venue by August.

btw, does the quote of $70+ include marquee for the outdoor area too, besides venue rental and food? are they able to help settle all the logistics if we book with them?

Hi Applez12,

My quotation exclude rental of marquee. We thought of booking the marquee once we have finalist the guest list. Elsie from Rasel told me that booking of marquee can be done later as it from external supplier. Oh yes, I booking everything through Rasel. It's makes things easiler for me. Have you got quotation from them already? If not, maybe you can look for Elsie at 92771255. She's helping me on the booking and so far so good.

hi applez12,

I got all my arrangement through Rasel. Below are my breakdown on my wedding budgeting for ACM:

Venue booking: $3800+GST (for river room and terrace)
Tentage cost: $1800+GST (for for 3 units)
Food cost: $9900+GST (for 220paxs x $45 per person)
Total: $70+GST

Tips: I make close to 5K for my wedding. I believe it's due to the location as it near to fullerton and there isn't a standard angpow for places like Museum unlike if you are looking at hotel or resturant. Most of my guest give us $80-$100 for 1 person and $150 for 2 persons.

Hope this helps!

Hi Jess,

How is the food from Rasel? Saw from the website, there're 3 menu to choose. Does your cost include the decoration of the venue? Thanks.
