Hi ladies,
I am working in Suntec and very tempted to try out Daphnne at Millenia Walk but it seems that the comment abt her is not very good. Has anyone try the one at Centrepoint and any comments??

I go to Angelface too! Seems like there has been many changes in the therapists recently. I used to go to Connie then they told me that she was on leave so Marianne attended to me. I found Marianne really good..she is excellent with extraction...does not leave marks at all (unlike Connie). I went to her 2 or 3 times...now she is gone to!!! They said that she has some family issues and is not working anymore. I ust went today and tried Crystal..not bad lah but im quite sick of the changes..plus nowadays they always persuade me to sign this and upgrade that...sighh..
If you guys have tried the other therapists, let me know okie..

I'm a regular client of La Vogue with Daphane. I do share the same sentiments of some sharings in this forum- that she's rather hard sell...and pushy for sales of late. Well,I presumed that it must be her saloon's location that faces less crowd traffic that's y- it's rather quiet @ Millenia Walk. I guess that's y she ought to rely on her sales of sothys pdts, as well as packages to improve biz I guess. I not trying to defend her...but though I find her sometimes pushy (yes...I sometimes do sense her disappointment/black-face when I reject her "offers" etc...)- on the whole, I still think highly of her skills, and ambience of her sothys concept saloon. Really do feel pampered each time I go there....
Well, am really interested to find out more about Jeaanie from JS Paradigm. Coz my package with Daphane's ending...so a good time to check out "better and more competitively priced- sothys trained beauticians?" (Yes, I'm moving away from Daphane coz her packages are indeed on the high side...though she's really good...

I've tried both Daphne and Jeannie. I actually prefer Jeannie and I find her more gentle. Daphne tends to be a bit 'rough', maybe she's pressed for time?? Jeannie's extraction is quite thorough which I like. She is generous with samples and she doesnt even as you to buy sithys products. But in terms of ambience, Daphne's place is really good.
When I finished my package with Daphne, I didnt see any difference in my complexion. But for Jeannie, I do see that my face is clearer and feels cleaner even though I only took the 50 dollar basic facial.

just went for a session with Jeannie. she is really very nice and friendly and not pushy at all. however, my face became very red after the extraction and i really didn't like it cos' my regular facial auntie does it with me emerging fair and rosy. guess it's cos' Jeannie doesn't use anything to soothe the redness unless you do a treatment facial cos' she says it's too expensive.

Hi postpet2, the price of the facial really depends on what you want to do. don't worry Jeannie will walk you through it. there is no hard sell at all. Jeannie will most prob ask you to do a session first and then go back again if you're interested in the package or course as Jeannie puts it

you can the main authorised Sothy's Salon at Paragon. i think it's on the 4th or 5th fl. at the newer wing of Paragon. it's called Faubourg *** (some numbers that i can't really remember). a really nice place

My facial is at UOB Centre level 2 unit 4 called 128 Faubourg Sothys branch. I like their services not pushy and nice environment. The one who do my facial is Diana she is good. Maybe you would like to give it a try...^_^ Somemore if you got UOB credit card you can pay by 6 or 12 months installments.(Not so heartache)keekee...

I decided to carry on with La Vogue instead. (maybe when I get my new flat...will try JS Paradigm..which is nearer to my new home..)That's becoz I discovered another therapist, Eliza who's just as good as Daphane...if not better! Eliza is also a senior therapist who has many years of experience under her belt. IN Fact, I decided to follow Eliza as I saw my skin improving more under her. After extractions, my skin was not too raw, infact it healed rather fast. Her extractions are bearable, but does not leave 'funny' marks, yet it clears impurities. Most importantly, ...if you have read my previous posting.....Eliza does not pressure me to sign up for 'exhorbitant upgrades for packages' which I cannot afford. She's one who will cater to your budget, and make recommmendations on products that will suit your individual needs and of course...your budget. In that sense I appreciate her salesmanship as she certaintly has good customer EQ skills. =)

Hi Linty8, those Sothys products from Ocean are parallel imports, i.e. Sothys products meant for other markets, not Singapore, but are brought into Singapore for sale. Their composition may or may not be suitable for your skin type, though they are very much cheaper.
To answer your question, they are genuine products from Sothys too.

they have two beauticians there - serena and diana. both are quite good and friendly.
