I did not really count it.
I prepare extra - basically bought a bundle of white and pink from Katong Florist at Bedok.
I bundle about 15 - 20 stalks. Cheaper than buying from other places where they charging abt $1 or $2 per stalks.

Pink also for my little flower gal.
My gf mixed the white and pink for the aisle cos she worry insufficient cos I had mine in the ballroom due to heavy downpour

Stella > the room is not big. in fact quite small but has quite high ceiling and same floor as the swimming pool. but i love the bathroom. amara decorated the bathtub with rose petals. very romantic. good for post-ceremony action with your new hubby! haha. and there are mirrors all round the bathroom. oops

right outside the bathroom is the vanity top where you can have your make-up done. there's even a chair for you to sit while doing your make-up

Hi,

I just have my solemnization at Amara on last Saturday. Thank God, the weather was good and cooling.

My guests said that the buffet was good and they do top up the food for us. The service provide by the amara staff was excellent! I was too busy during the event and they even offer to bring food to our room after the event.

Ya Stella thanks. Actualli infact wat couples normally look into when considerin the venue for their ROM wld be:

1) service
2) quanlity and quantity of food
3) location
4) price

I believe and hope Amara do meet all the basic requirements. I wld be attending their weddin fair tml..keke..rili hope wil hv a gd experience thr cos may consider Amara as my ROM venue nxt yr..

I attended e weddin show at Amara.
Their Hi-tea menu - $1488++ for 30 pax
and lunch menu - $1688++ for 30 pax.

additional person: $48++ per pax for Hi-tea and $58++ per pax for buffet lunch.

DnA : mi oso signed up ROM package, is for lunch buffet $1688++, cater for 30paxs include bride and groom. provide free flow drinks, 1 night stay, ROM table + reception table decorations, 1 VIP carpark lot, think got 2 complimentary carpark lots, music + sound system provided

ya i think the ROM package pretty standard.

DnA : u can choose their function room or poolside garden..but if u were to choose their indr room for buffet but rom solemnisation at outdr, they will charge u $500..i think..nt worth ma..might as well take outdr..but mine is at DEC..normally is rain season...have to pray lo..

DnA: yaya we happened to see it at suntec..initially want to buy ring pillow..but like so boring..so we decide to DIY ourselves lo..cute la in the sense, somemore we can keep after ROM and make it as a display set..the brown cushion can take out, and when time to comes, can go back suntec and buy their "kids" figurine..haha :>

as for sheraton is too high end..amara is gd enough i think for ROM..anyway they have gd comments so i dun have to worry..jux wait for the day to arrive!

Called Tiffany tis morng.
Quite in a hurry to bk a venue cos my ROM date is a gd day...it wil be in high demand (keke)
As mine falls on a sunday, Tiffany mentioned that I cant hv my lunch package at their function room as all will be occupy and taken for church events.
Thus, I am left w onli three options.

1) Hi-tea package (ceremony and lunch by the poolside garden

2) Hi-tea package (ceremony by e pool, lunch at function room)

3) Ceremony and lunch at poolside garden

I dun like all the 3 options given cos no dbt I had wanted an outdoor venue for my ceremony, I wld wan my guests to hv their lunch in e function room as its more cooling for dem. (option 3 out). For option 2, i hv to pay additional $500 wich its nt worth for e rental of e function room. My bf and I prefer lunch menu den hi-tea.(1 and 2 is out)

Haiz...for those who had their lunch outdoor, hw is it? v humid ma?

one suggestions for new ROM couples at amara, if your guests drive, bargain for more complimentary carpark coupons. as a hotel guest, you can get another 2 from the reception. all-in, i had enough coupons for all my guests on my ROM. parking at amara is very expensive.

Stella: My rom date is on 20/09/2009. Btw, I had checked w Tiffany, shld it rains on tt day, will thr be any backup area since all function rooms are occupy. As wat she mentioned to me, we will be shifted to Hue Restobar. Will be arranging for a date to go dwn for inspection.
