Serta Mattress- Anybody?

Standard mattress in Singapore is 8", that means all bedsheet will be able to fit in.
Now many mattress from US thickness is 13", then u need to buy those bedsheet that can fit.
Always ask b4 u buy. Some bedsheet in Aussino can fit and some only for 10" and below.

I bought the Elegance. I think it is 12-13inch.
My aussino bedsheets fit ok.
Actually I also have no idea how to see if the bedsheet fits...coz I looked all over the bedsheet package...and there is no mention of mattress height requirements.

I been looking for a serta bed too.
But i think every serta outlet kind of using a different name for what seems like the same thing. The one in IMM uses Luciana, one in marina is Elegance, the one in orchard uses Florida (very similar to Luciana in IMM). The problem is, all are Serta. I am having problem choosing which one.... Can someone provide me with some advice? Why do all of them uses different names? thanks.
btw, 26 June (tues), taka got 10% on DBS black card.

yup serta have many names for the similiar kind of mattress for example at novo i think there is a model called nightstar at takashimaya it's called perfect night. according to the sales agent at taka it's similiar except for the name. my guess is everyyear they release some new upgrades and so names change just like Honda jazz have 2007 version and 2006 version etc similiar specifications just minor tweaks.. most important thing is to test the matt.. remember the feel and go for the mattress that has the best feel and within your budget..

We went to Furniture Mall to buy the mattress..
have arrange with them to send to us next tuesday..We did try on different brand of mattresses before we decide on this. Alabama is super comfy, as if you are sleeping on the clouds..My hubby and me fell in love with it after trying on it.

Hi, I dun think they have different names for similar kind of mattress. Different outlets have the monopoly over certain kind of mattress, for eg, I asked the lady at Furniture Mall why they din carry sierra hills and she told me they are not allowed to sell mattress that Taka is selling. I tried on Alabama and Elegance and true enough, they are different though still very comfy
well, my experience with the Serta guy is not so pleasant even he is able to provide us with lots of useful info.
i think he is not that good in communicating to clients that makes me feel quite uncomfortable.
his fav. word is:"WRONG"...

Kristie, I thought I was the only weird one around who buys mattress coz of the sheep
But I love the Elegance that I bought too... super comfy..
But the numbers are quite random... you can choose but depends on whether the warehouse has that number that shipment.
Cynthia, any idea how much is it sold? I feel like getting another one

Hello! 1st time contribute to this thread. Thought it would be useful to post our experience here to warn interested buyers of Serta mattress.

Short summary about our experience here.. We bought Serta Maryland from Serta Kaki Bukit. Was told that it was better than Louisiana due to the latex. However, we went back to Serta Centrepoint and realised both models have the same specs but with couple of hundreds price difference. Wanted a refund but was refused as they insisted they didn't misrepresent.
Had a showdown with them yesterday and they have 360 degree change in explanation. They insisted the difference is the convoluted foam. Nothing to do with the LATEX.
This teaches us that 1) never trust totally what the salesperson told you, 2) trust your own instinct and do your research 3) never to make full payment!

Hi rainpod, we didn't get the mattress cover in the end. just shop shop see see the prices. btw, getting one free mattress cover from Serta, see whether it lasts or not.
what do u think of aussino quilt? we r considering either the silk or the 7-holes polyester one. very soft and price affordable, now got aussino sales.

We finally bought the Aussino 7-holes polyester quilt at around $50 (king size). Good offer as its on 40% discount.
Yup, i also thin polyester also easier to maintain, can wash by washing machine. Silk one very smooth, but must dry clean..

I've tried on the elegence range but i find it too hard. Still prefer arizona. Btw, u bot ur elegence from which Serta shop?

i bot frm furniture mall, a shop called Sin Hup. The sales person is very nice (cant rem her name) but her boss Sharon sucks... very reluctant to give me the xtra sheep... i almost wanted to walk out but the sales person called me back in... she's so nice as she still say her boss is actually a very nice person blah blah blah... nonetheless i tink i got a gd deal so nvm la.

im caught between serta sophiscation & arizona .Both feels comfortable to me. sophiscation which got 5cm latex top cost nearly 4k whereas arizona cost nearly 3.2k.
Any gd advice for tis 2 mattress.
