I am also having abt 20 pax during my solemnization at Zhou's Kitchen so i dnt thk there will b a problme of the nos of pax u have. :-) Above pic is the area of soleminse whereby yr guests will be in the area to witness yr day.

I hold my ROM in the morning abt 11am. And the manager do inform me that they will set up the solemnization indoor(in the restaurant corner) incase it really rain on tht day. So jst have to try luck on tht day weather as i am quite lucky as whn abt to do the setup the rain jst stop. :-) My ROM was fall on Fri so Irene the manager inform me that they can arrange only lunch tme to hold my ROM in their mini garden s nite tme they are vy crowded. And also they could let me hold my ROm tme at 11am before they are offically open and i can arrive the restaurant early abt 10am to get prepare myself for the day.

hey jojotan, thanks a lot for ya advice. i've place booking for my ROM will be doing dinner. They recommend to do it @5pm coz it's PH Eve and a Sun. And they are worried that it'll be crowded and that they are not able to give the attention we needed if we want to do it later.
 
oh... so fast??? faints... lucky i book with them last week still manage to get it cheaper... wow that means their response is quite gd that is why they hav raise the price...
 
Ya it has become $100 instead of $80, because they said that now the guest chairs are also decorated and the flowers cost more. They claim that they don't earn, is just because the sub-con increase, so they have to increase.

I went down today, the level 1 rest is really small.
 
guess this always happens, once demand is up, prices will go up too.

which branch did u go to memorable? if it's the anchorpoint branch, level 1 I agree it's a bit small...level 2 is bigger with more tables
 
ya at Achorpoint. I booked their garden at $100 n lunch for one table only. They come with a fake cake and wine glasses for phototaking in the garden. If u want, u can buy champagne from them or bring in your own champagne at a cover charge of $15. U can even bring in your own cake. For the lunch/dinner menu, they have different manu for u to choose from, which cost from $200+ to $600+ per table. There is no private VIP room but they will give u a corner seat.
 
hey memorablechocolate, i'm holding my ROm @ Zhou's Kitchen Anchorpt in Sep 09 as well. I opt for wedding dinner. when is ya ROM date? Mine is on 20 Sep 2009 =)

Oh they change their pricing for decor? i was told $80++
 
ermmm means if i only rom and dinner, i can rent the mini garden for the soleminsation and then go inside for dinner? how many pax can the mini garden hold? the dinner wise can have how many tables max? abit confusing.
 
Hi michantz, mine also 20th Sept, ohh u r the one who book the night one b4 me. Haha, mine only ROM there with lunch with families only. Wedding will only be next year.

Ya now is $100, they explain that the decoration is different, so is the price.

What a coincidence =). Irene told me to hold ours at around 5pm. But we decided to hold the ceremony @5.30pm. Coz time buffer maybe the ceremony will finish ard 6pm. At least it's just right for dinner time.

Mine is also just ROM for 4 tables. Wedding dinner gotta wait a few more years.
 
Yeap!!! i just received Irene call.. They do have the Hi-Tea for ROM. But it just that they have set a min. pax for the Hi-Tea. Their staff misunderstand the new rule..........

I will be going down this week to check out all the prices. My current plan is to take their Hi-Tea which price at $16.80++ each pax and rent their small garden which cost $100 nett.
Let you know when i got the whole details

just bnook my ROM there at 8th June

$100 for the garden + Hi-tea $12.80++ (weekday) ...

I think the package is either Lunch, hi-tea or Dinner..

Dinner is $398++ per table (10 people)
 
I have booked mine at July 11th =)
Irene was telling me that ard June she will be changing the menu.. I wonder what the new menu will be .. hmmm..

Thought of doing some extra deco on the table ..
I will be putting my precious moment figurine/ring pillow/pen with stand/Flower petals.
But Im still looking ard for a nice feather pen which is not so costly.

I would love to have pinky theme.. But don't think i have enough time to do that

i got my free ring pillow from SK when i bought my wedding band there. You should be able to ask for it when u are buying ur wedding bands. So far, most of the jewellery shop will provide it free

Do rem to ask the SA to teach u how to tied the ring onto the pillow. As for the pens/pen stand still looking ard.. i ever come across a post that mentioned Mini Toons got some nice pens but ytd i went to see there isnt anymore T_T

Those handmade one i dont think i have the budget to get T_T

hi all, i just have my rom at Zhou kitchen ytd... service is excellent.. and i think they have change much of the setting up le.. is even more grand than what we expected... and it was sheltered for for place too.. but it is still abit hot there..... lucky they have 3-4 fans there to cool us down... there are chair covers for the chairs.. but i will suggested that if having more than 20pax and u want them to be there, the space is quite cramp...

hmm i hav 25 pax ytd.. if sitting by two rows is not enuff sitting already.. coz of which 4 of them are sitting at the solemization table...
I hav only abt 18-19 chairs on both sizes..
tats y I think if more than 25 pax the rest hav to stand.. and oso depends what time u having.. for me i hav it at 2pm.. quite sunny..some of the chairs will b having the sun shine on it.. yr guest might feel abit hot...
