I recently got their proposal. The Contact person Alina is very friendly and the outlay of the place seems very nice.

I'll be holding my rom at Crowne Plaza on 14th June. Liked the venue (esp the poolside) and the deluxe suite they gave free for my package.
I feel there's only 1 setback abt Crowne - they don't have any sound system given in the package...have to pay $300++ for it. Quite unlike Amara which gives it free (i found out after we confirmed)
Was quite bothered by it cos what's the pt when your guest can't hear a thing and just see. Somemore my jp will be giving us a buddish preaching of 15 mins after that. HTB thinks otherwise, it's ok that pple can't hear at all, after all it's just for us. What do you gals think?

Besides that, my hotel coordinator Alina really help us alot.. making sure that everything went off smoothly. Of course, the rest of the hotel staffs too..

Does your friend do sound system business? Or do you have any contact? Cos I am thinking spending $300++ for the sound system is a bit over. If really cant find reasonable cost for sound system, and not using it at all, wondering if the guests can hear us or not.

He is dealing w some sound system stuff but I m nt sure whether he can rent that out coz they r doing those big event. For my rom, we request him to lend us the system for a day den return back the next day. Lol.

My friend is currently not in Singapore hence I guess i might not be able to help you. Update u again by this week. =/
As for phototaking, I think it do depends on the photographer skills.. Sometimes a simple place, they can make it look so nice in the photo.. Do google around as I did somehow manage to find some nice pics some photographer took in T3.
