Hi all,

Do you have any recommendations for hotels/restaurants that cater to a small number of tables say 10 to 15 tables for a wedding dinner or lunch? Thanks!

The only ones I know off so far would be Marriott (they have a min 8 tables option), Royal Plaza on Scotts (min 8 tables), Pan Pacific Orchard (min 5 tables), Fullerton (min 8 tables for Straits Room).

Good luck!

I have already looked for small wedding venue for a couple of months. Here is the list. Good luck. I will be choosing Straits Room at Fullerton.
1. Straits Room Fullerton, min 8 tables max 12
2. Royal Plaza of Scott, min 8 tables
3. Ramda at Zhongshan, min 8 tables
4. Raffles hotel min 8 tables
5. Pan Pacific orchard, min 5 tables
6. Galleria ballroom, Grand Copthrone Water Front, min 10 tables
7. Garden Suite, Mandarin Oriental, min 10 tables or equivalent spending
8. Nissim Room, Regent Singapore, min 10 tables or equivalent spending
9. Carlton hotel, min 10 tables
10. Movenpick hotel, min 10 tables but can negotiate to 8 tables for lunch
11. Mandarin orchard, min 6 tables (but ceiling is very low and not nice)
12. Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium, selector ballroom, min 15 tables but can nego
13. Hilton hotel min 15 tables but they can lower to 13
14. Marriott the gallery but the venue is really at corridor...

Mine was at pan pac orchard, pretty good, since there's only 1 main ballroom, can have the whole lvl to yourself if there's no meeting going on. But who holds weekend meetings, esp at night.

Hi Cheryl_512
Would you consider having it outside hotels/restaurants? If you want something different, you may hold it at nice places such as Scape, Gardens by the bay, Loft at The Star and get a caterer to provide the food. I have attended weddings catered by Rasel Catering and Purple Sage mostly and they did a good job!

Hello everyone

For those have experience on PPO.

Me and my hubby already done our ROM last Dec 2012, but the AD not yet we are planning to have our AD at PPO next year (early planning is better) i already check PPO about the pricing, they say 40% dep upon confirmation. Then 40% 3mos bef AD, 20% 1month before AD.

I saw some reviews that we can pay the balance after check out the bridal suite, is it correct? Or must follow their 40-40-20% DP scheme.

Anyone can share their experience

Hello! just held my wedding there in december 2014. Yup, not necessary. But better to ask them the min amt. Cos min. 5 tables vs 12 tables, the DP is different. And 1 month before wedding can let them know exact table no. (can only increase) That scheme is just a guideline. They are not that strict.

Hi Bearine,

Thank you for this info.
I thought we really need to follow, bec me and my hisband just only started our savings for our AD ( bec our work is not so stable) this time we really want it to be done our AD. Anyway only my husband is a Singaporean, so i don't have much guest on my list. We really inted to invote only 100pax.

Your wedding is also under their open house promo, or the standard rate?
Can you share other info, i hope you don't mind =)

For me, I had mine at Raffles country club at tuas.. initially looking at 15tables but had 19 in the end.. If you are not staying in west area, probably you can consider ramada hotel too. I remembered that they cater to 10-15 tables..

Mine was open house promo, $50 off per table and 1 extra night stay when using some credit cards. They hold it twice a year I think. Hehe, my hubby is not a Singaporean too, that's why we also held a small one.

Pls rmb to check the bill before paying. They forgot I had the open house promo. Cos is 2 different pple handling. :)
