I can't wait for Halloween, i will be having a mini party at home, food by Rasel.

just to summarize, I 've used Rasel for my wedding function. Was not very happy with them throughout the whole planning process.

written a feedback after the wedding( one of the dishes is beyond consumption.) Till now the co-ordinator didnt even bother to reply.whereas she was ALWAYS very prompt in replying in regards to payment.

that aside, I would say that their service staff is very good, nice decoration as well.

other than that, I will not engage Rasel for other functions again.

Hi ladies,

I'm back to this thread again. My wedding just ended last week and everything was so different from what cinnamonsugar has mention. Yes, I do agreed on their nice decor n prompt services given. I guess for taste, I didn't try much of their food cos I was so busy entertaining my friends n relatives. All the feedback given was positive especially on their desserts. Well I think everybody has different tastebud. I tried emailing them to praise them on the wonderful job done but also didn't get any reply. Guess they are too busy... Can understand lah,,, peak period mah!!! Good job Rasel! Sure recommend them to all my friends.

Hi Ladies
am thinking about haivng Rasel as my caterer. I sent them an email but havent received any response. How fast are they usually in terms of responding to enquiries?
I was thinking of having Rasel do "everything" (venue decor etc) but I'm not sure if they do that. Does anyone here have any experience with Rasel in that? Can they help with the flowers, sound system, tables for solemnization etc?

Hi hi... I heard Rasel food quality drop. Any comments? I'm in a dilemma to book them for my church wedding or not

My hubby booked them for a chalet.. I'm a btb myself and trying to get a good caterer.. Overall, we felt that the food can be better.. And the portion looks really small for 35 pax.. For some reason or another, we had an entire dish virtually untouched.. The setup looks pretty good, nonetheless the sheperd's pie is a must try..

so far heard only good comments about Rasel. My sister recently booked her church wedding thru Elsie and was quite a good deal because there is 10% discount and freebies. Maybe you can feedback to them so that they can look into it and retain the original taste.

After hearing your comments, i am contemplating whether to get them for my family gathering because my family is quite a big eater. It's going to be embarassing if I dont have sufficient food for them. Used them for my company dinner and dance and everyone was full of praises on that night...

Melissa: I guess if u are afraid of portion and that the food is really not too bad, how abt ordering more pax? My hubby is kiasu type.. He actually wanted to da bao fried bee Hoon after looking at the portion..

I'm finally settling my buffet.. Going with what my boss orders every year for CNY gathering..

like what happylilone say, if you're are afraid of food portion than maybe you can consider ordering a bit more to buffer. Why not you check the sales person? I believe they can advise you better. I just order from them for my houswarming last week, still yummy as before.

For wedding church reception, anyone had any experience with Rasel? I've saw some reviews that food are so-so. My fiance and are will much prefer food to be nice too as my parents in law are quite particular on that. Any recommendations?

Their food is good esp Shepherd's Pie, Assam Laksa and Lamb Rendang..must try.where did you see the reviews? Just call them and ask for recommended dishes.

Hi everyone,

I have signed up a package with Rasel for my wedding end of this year. But my husband's grandma just past away and we have to cancel our wedding this year and postpone to 3 years later.

The caterer said I can transfer the package to other couple so long as it's within 2012 and they are available on that day. The package is for a minimum of 100 pax and I have already paid a deposit of $1000. Willing to transfer at a lower price (can negotiate).

I have helped my company cater from them for a function before and everyone was very please with the food. I decided to cater from them for my outdoor wedding. But no choice we have to cancel our wedding this year.
