Hi did any one of you did your ROM in the President or chancellor suite at RTC? If so any photos to share and how many pax can it accomodate?

Hi everyone..
Im confused.. Just wondered is Guek Peng still with RTC? My fiance had called a few times to look for her, and the receptionist said shes in meeting and will get back to him after the meeting. But three days of continously calling and yet she has not get back to him at all...
Anyone has her email? Haiz...

By the way, anyone has their solemnization during high tea time? im informed through email that the timing given is 1pm to 4pm by the manager, and he/she did mentioned that the event MUST BE STRICTLY end by 530pm...(even if i started late.) Due to the auspicious timing.. i need to start the solemnization after 3pm.. if its strictly must be end by 530pm, 2.5 hours of solemnization and buffet, is it enough?

Why RTC kinda not as flexible as what had mentioned in the forum.. Haiz.. so disappointed.STress and LOST.... = (

i held my solemnization with RTC early this year..
mine also high tea.. i started mine 1pm, ended 4pm.. i tink the reason u have to end by 5.30 cuz maybe theres weddin on tt day..they need time to clear up the mess and set the tables

I doubt theres any solemnization in the evening.. Its still far from the actual date.. HOwever, Is the reply of the "STRICTLY MUST BE END BY" and no much explaination.. EVen if the time is till 6pm.. Im also ok.. JUst half an hour..

Haiz.. BUt its ok.. Hope i can find Guek Peng this time.. Thanks Thanks Celine for the email..

Sorry.. wrong info.. IS strictly end by 5pm.. 2 hours .. is it enough for the whole event? i dont wish to after almost 5pm, i got to chase all my guests back.. = (

prob u can check with gp. she's v nice in handling my stuffs. oh ya, now i rem, if ur soleminsation is at the ballroom, then it do make sense to clear for banquet at night. so tats the only concern. as i was doing events, we were also told to strictly return their ballroom by 5. and when we start to clear off at 5pm, they hav to quickly set up all the tables.

will check with GP.. (btw, its another person giving me the quotation and emailing me.. if i ask Gp, is it kinda change coordinator or its kinda rude?)
Anyway, hope everything works well..
Maybe cos of her nv return our call.. So we are very sianz le.. Haiz...

Am planning on holding my ROM at the private lounge next year. Really really like the lounge. But was told by the executive that it can only take a max of about 40+ people. My guest list is getting longer day by day. =) And i might end up with 50+ people.

Anyone who've held their ROM there with this number of guests? Is it possible and will the room be too crowded? Appreciate any advice!

Hi Vianna,

I just ROM-ed at RTC on 14th Feb 09. I got about 50+ guests and was given Dunearn Ballroom 2. Its a big ballroom with high ceilling.

With 50+ pax, the room is still ok, not crowded.

At first, my wife and me likes the Private Lounge too. But as our list are getting bigger, the in-charge gave us a ballroom and we like it even more because we get to decorate it.

May I know if the wedding packages are solely for members only? Would really love to do there but I do not seem to know any members of RTC.

Hi Jenny,

You do not have to be a member there for holding your wedding there. RTC is opened to public for weddings.

The new ROM/Wedding package will be released on the Wedding Fair on the 24th July. You can go and find out more.

I just went to RTC to view the place. The coordinator told me I need to get at least a RTC member reference, meaning you must know someone with RTC membership to get his/her membership number. Booking of venues is not open to public.
