Proposed vs engaged; boyfriend vs fiance

When ur bf has proposed to you, does it mean you're engaged already? or must have engagement party ? Then does it also mean he is your fiance or still address as boyfriend after proposal? BLur with the terms..

No right or wrong. Also depends on family traditions. When my bf proposed with ring, I considered us engaged. We didn't have an engagement party. Of course my parents era didn't have this "engaged" business. Their era, they went straight to the ROM.

I still refer to my fiancé as my bf sometimes. Other times I refer to him as my fiancé. Depends who I am talking to and what term I felt like using at that time.

So it all depends on how traditional and particular u are.

thanks megal.. i regarded myself as engaged but my fiance disagree and said must rom then considered engaged.. but rom means legally married isn't it? confused...

Yes. After ROM u are legally married. However some families don't recognize that as the traditional ceremony has not been completed. But by law, u will be considered husband and wife.
