Hi gals,

I received my 1st 4 figurines I bid from ebay!!~

All in good condition n c/w original boxes n just need some cleaning.

I have not receive "My happiness" I won yet cos I requested seller to send by surface mail. Can't wait to see how "short" it is. :p

hope you can claim back some $ for the broken piece from insurance.

"love lifted me" is one of the 21st rt? boy n girl on see-saw? that's a v sweet piece. looks huge though. now i'm eyeing for "we're in it together". did it's cross-stitch, so now wanna buy the figurine too.

Yes, "Love Lifted Me" is the figurine of a boy and girl on a see-saw.

Is "We're in It Together" the one with a boy and a girl in a rucksack?

Hey, I just got <FONT COLOR="0000ff">You're as sweet as Pie</FONT> from hubby as Valentine's day gift &amp; i think these 2 figurines sure look nice if place together.

ya, "we're in it together" is a retired piece, it was introduced in 1982.

all,
got a call from Precious Thots. They have the "I'll make you fishers of men" in stock, selling for $79, before member discount. But having promotion, if you buy any other PM normal figurines (value $50 and above, ie. at least $45 after member discount), then you can buy "I'll make you fishers of men" at $45 nett. While stock last!

i got the "i make you fishers of men" , and it came along with a poster. guess what ? i went to laminate it straight away..hhehehe
anyway, i bought it in citylink, went to collect my $39 25th anniversary fig. yest bought four at one go... the other 2 bought it bcos of the promotion for "fisher of men"

my pocket really burn a hole now.

Understand that when you buy the figurine, they will give you the lithograph. Is it whilst stock last? Even if we buy the figurine at $45 nett, are still entitled to the poster?

I hv collected "i make you fishers of men" &amp; "Collecting Life's Most precious moments" today. Bought another figurine "Loving is sharing" in order to get "I make you fishers of men" @ $45. :p

I heard from the staff that the lithograph is while stock last. Which means, 1st come 1st serve &amp; not all who bought the figurine will have this lithograph (dunno how true). I got my figurine @ $45 &amp; still have the lithograph bcos I book early. U have to act fast...

Actually it doesn't matter if I have the lithograph or not. I'm more interested in the figurine. Any idea if "A Penny a kiss, A penny a hug" is sold in retail outlets? No?

yes, you're rite abt the description of "Loving is sharing". There is a boy version (same name) which i think is a retired piece that I have bidded successful, so I thought it would be nice to have them beside each other.

I've got "A penny a kiss, a penny a hug". I got that sometime ago. It also come with a piggy bank. From what I know, some outlets consider that piece as "not for sale" (cos it's their last piece in their own outlet). But I think you can try calling some of the outlets to check on the stock status.

Went down to collect "I Will Make You Fishers Of Men" I bought "Bless Be the Tie that Binds" in order to buy the former at $45. And I still get the lithograph.

I went home and the two figurines which I have been anticipating for so long are finally here! "God's Love Is Crystal Clear" looks really nice next to "Forever in Our Hearts" I told my hubby they are a couple

"You Are My Favorite Dish" looks very sweet too. It came in an specially wrapped PM Valentine's wrapper, attached to it is a cookie cutter. Very sweet.

There are some figurines which I am looking out for, but they are not here yet. Wonder when.

Do you al always insist that the figurines comes with original boxes and display tags before you bid for them?

Anybody has bought the "Precious Moments: from the beginning" which cost $279? Is it nice?

i have reserved it.. heard from them that it will will only arrived in may or june

as for bidding, i did not insist on original boxes and tags.. cos for myself.. so never mind

i am a PM supporter too...
My first - "Snatch" by my sister ( she insisted tt she like it a lot so i give it to her as birthday present )
Subsequently i join yearly n also join the fun club too. Now hv less than 10 figurines cos its expensive. Luckily me got some friends who got the PM figurines from weddin gifts blar blar n didnt really like PM so give it to Me... Yeah...

me too...i love precious moments...but not an avid collector like u all...cos very expensive hobby....though i love to collect all their figurines cos they are simply so nice but hubby dun allow....says waste of money...so far, i got abt 5 figurines only...some are gifts and some are given when i sign for their membership.

Just wondering how do i maintain the figurines... like cleaning and all.. how do i go about?

Hi Gelaine,

if you want to clear away the dust, you can just a paint brush to brush them away.

If you want to clean it cos got stains, you can try using toothpaste or Zippo and wipe it off.

But be very careful when cleaning cos the pieces are really fragile. I heard many cases of broken pieces when cleaning.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I am considering ordering a few items from preciousmoments.com. Is it where you ordered from? Last year, when I was in US, I called their number (the one in the website) and it is a wrong number so I am kinda skeptical.

What are chapel exclusives? Do you have to pay shipping insurance? How long does it take to reach you? Maybe we should gather orders and do it together
