Hi ALL,

I've signed with Yu Hsin from Tinydot Photography for my Pre Wedding Shoots in Paris, For Period between May 17 to May 24, 2009.

Im looking for another keen couple to share and split the cost of the Makeup artist's service fees, flight ticket and accomodation.

Any keen parties for Pre Wedding, Wedding or Post Wedding shoots in Paris during the above mentioned period?

Let me know if you are genuinely keen.
Can PM or email me at [email protected] to discuss further, Thanks!

Hi fd,
My package is called Menu C.
I am only ask to make very minimum payment.
and my date is still open as I yet to decide when to go. As I mentioned rather implusive and not in plan to go oversea shooting.

Frankly speaking the photos shown to me are really attractive. Wonder will it be the same when I go there

Would you mind sharing which W&T (I assume Wedding & travel) Mazagine issue did you came across.

hi all, if u r interested in Julia Wedding News for Taiwan PS, you can consider signing up this weekend at Vivocity (12-15 Feb) at the bridal fair. It is definitely much cheaper than signing at the shop itself. Compared to my package, my fren signed up last year during the bridal show and it was more than 1k cheaper and getting almost the same things.

I can share my details with those interested. email [email protected]

So far, I'm a happy customer of Julia Wedding News

I've got a Bluebay Taiwan PS package to transfer to any interested couple. Bought the package in the last wedding fair at Suntec. When my fiancee and me bought it, we were really convinced by their sincerity of course the long list of freebies they threw in for us. However after careful considerations, we felt that perhaps it will be challenging to head to TW for the PS due to work commitments (Fiancee just got a new job) and wedding preparations.

If anyone is thinking of taking up a Bluebay package to TW, please call me on 98710511 or email me at [email protected]. I think we got quite a special deal from Blue Bay and if you are seriously considering a PS in Taiwan, we can discuss on the transfer.

P.S. We've discussed with Blue Bay already, and they are ok with the transfer.

I had my BS at Ivy Bride in Taipei. Their service is excellent, felt very homely. Their gowns, makeup and photograpghy is good. U may view their website at www.ivy-bride.com.tw.

Price is affordable and most importantly, their attitude is right.

Hi everyone,

Have finished my photoshoot! Now in the midst of finalising the photos editing stage, can't wait to see my final product!

Just would like to share on my experience in Taiwan with my bridal shop...The staff there are all very friendly and accomodating. All in I spent around $4K, 96 photos all in. We took around 3 days to settle all the stuff. 1 day for choosing clothes, another day for photoshoot, the last for choosing pics. I was initially only given a certain number of stylings, but they increased to 1 more in view of my wishes to take some pajamas shot.

Make up artist was really great. She used to make up for the celebrities. I myself are in the trade of doing free-lance bridal makeup...so I was really particular about the makeup itself. While it could have been better to my own perference, overall, it was acceptable for my high standards haha...natural but yet it defines your features. I learnt a lot from her from make up tips to hair styling...really make the money all worth it for bringing her along for our outdoor shoot...

The photographer was humourous and really good at teaching you how to pose. My hubby which was the worst in knowing where to put his eyes on the camera came out ok! He is the sort which you will not see most of his eyeballs, as in the white part will be staring at you in the photos instead...The photographer was also very adventurous and kept challenging us to do dangerous stunts like going near a steep slope of the lake, climbing up high areas, etc.! But we had fun!

While Singapore's bridal shop will quibble over the number of customes you can take for outdoor shoot...they were surprisingly very liberal on what you can take out..they could let me take the white gown out as well if I want to...

They were very hospitable..hosted us very well and even attended to us till late at night given our tight schedule in Taiwan.

They did such a good job in the photoshoot that they did not bother to even persuade us to take more pics...in fact they even suggested that we cut down! Hahah...

For a total cost which is similar or lesser than packages here in Singapore, you get pictures at locations not found in Spore, excellent service, and an absolutely memorable experience to last for a lifetime. It's all worth the travel and air tickets!

btw, they will be coming to Singapore for a wedding trade show this coming end Jun in Suntec. I'll be paying them a visit I supposed just to catch up

Some pics to share...pls do not abuse for my good gesture hor...

Hello all Gorgeous BTBs,

Took my pre-wedding photo shoot in May 2009 @ Taiwan with IVY BRIDE. Its was super fun and "delicious". Even my stern husband was smiling happily for the photo shoot.

My husband likes Husky doggies A LOT, so we made a special request for the BS to locate a husky for our photo shoot. And the BS replied within 2 days that they found us a young husky. My husband was over the moon.

And all the staff at Ivy Bride are so warm, jovial and "automatic".
We're always busy with photo shoot stuff & snacking on all the local delicacies Kelly-Jie (our coordinator) bought for us.
She is very experienced, all the WG or EG that she selected for mi fit me nicely. She also encourages me to try whatever design I like and she'll "score" for me if the gowns looks nice.

Her assistant YaHui is very nice.
She was walking up the different storeys for the gowns and bending up and down - helping mi with the fitting.

IVY BRIDE staff even helped us plan our itinerary. They shown us the shortest route to all the places of interest etc.

Overall we enjoyed our pre-wedding photo shoot in taiwan tremendously.

and you can visit this link:
http://www.ivy-bride.com/album01.php?mid=3
this is where they will post some of the pics of their REAL customers.

Just msg me if you need any tips for your taiwan pre-wedding photo shoot

think there is another thread for overseas photography and some BTBs were discussing abt photography in Taiwan too.

Hi Mayers, I also had my prewed PS with Lishe. Same PG as you! But my MUA is Yang Lao Shi. When I went for my PS, there is only 2 MUAs. Yang Lao Shi and Ling Zhi I think.

Hi I would like to share my photos and experience at Lishe too.

My package (signed in nov08) is $2,388 which consists of:
- 30 pcs photo 12" by 18"
- 20" x 24" canvas photo with frame
- 1 photo album suitcase
- 100 Thank you card
- 1 poster (for guests to sign/write on)
- 1 10" photo with crystal frame
- CD rom for all selected photos
- 5 gowns and makeup
- Free lunch & dinner on day of shooting

Please take note that you may have to incur the following additional charges but it's optional:
MUA follow to outdoor shoot: NT$4,000
Ampoule: NT$500/ bottle or NT$4,000 for box of 10 (HTB and I used 5 bottles in total)
Vehicle rental : NT$ 2,000 for first 4 hrs and NT$400 for subsequent hr (it's a huge van. Very comfortable)
Groom suit : The 2 suits provided are basic ones. If you want better looking, need to top up ~ NT$3,500 per suit.

Lastly need to pay for the entrance fees for certain locations.

-MUA-
My MUA is Yang laoshi who is very experienced and friendly. She will always ask us what style we want before doing the hairstyle for me and there is variety in the hairstyles. Highly recommended by me. Also I feel that it is necessary to bring along the MUA for outdoor shoot in order to have change in hairstyles and someone to help BTB with gown changing.

-Photographer-
Currently Lishe has 3 PGs- Michael, Paul & ah King. Paul is the highly raved about one. However I was allocated ah King for my PG. I think King was promoted from assistant to PG less than a yr. We communicated to ah king the style we wanted and we also mentioned that both HTB and I do not know how to pose at all. During the PS he is the one who taught us the poses according to the feel we wanted. He will also crack jokes to make my HTB laugh as HTB doesn't know how to smile nicely. The PS was fun and stress free. We are indeed happy with our photos.

We have also received our album layout and it is really very nice in my opinion!

My photos are available at:

For the album layout, kindly leave ur email add or drop me a PM if you are interested to see.
