Has anyone tried printing a silouette of your wedding photo on a tracing paper like (of course of better quality) insert?

hi audrey,

it can be done. i did not do that, but my little card in the case is printed on tracing paper like of paper. hm.. i also had some picture in it. but i think u may need to go to a printed to do it.

Hi Mandy,

I hope u hvnt reformat ur PC yet. Might be able to save ur data first b4 u do a formatting.

Use ur bootup disk to bootup ur computer first. Insert the bootup disk in ur A:\ drive, then startup ur PC. U will get into A:\. From there, go to C:\ or D:\ where u save ur data and pic, then try to copy all ur data and pic out onto a diskette or zip disk. I hope u have a zip disk, coz pic are quite large, it might not even go into a diskette.

hey, received it, lovely wedding...can i ask you where did you get your black n white photo printed on the clear-sticker? how much does one costs ( i mean the sticker) and do you give your photo to the printer? It's very nice

hi may,

actually the whole thing is done by my designer. he scan in my pic, did touch up, printed them on the sticker and pasted them for me. they actually tried printing on the case itself, but it scatches too easily.

1 pcs cost abt $2.50 sin but that is becis i did it in JB. if i chose to do it in sg, it will cost me at least $5 sin.

oh yes, i pass my wedding pic to the printer to do scanning.

I'll be putting our pictures in the wedding card. Did a trial card. printed the photo on translucent paper. turned out very nice. the photo is b/w.

Another way is to take b/w lifestyle shots, develop copies of them at the photo developing (do the 3R or 2R size) - 20-30 cents/pc. Stick them in the card with the photo-corners
(those little triangle thingies to slot your pictures in) - $8-12 per pack of 250. sold at any stationery shop that carries 3M products.

For those thinking of sticking real photos onto cards, my photographer had this advice...

Don't use double sided tape cos the tape is acidic. overtime, the photo will corrode at the spot where the tape is stuck.

Use photo stickers. it's abt $12 for 300 pcs. get from any good bookstores.

it was a simple idea cos i am in the music industry. wanted to use a cd holder, but it was too big, so we use a disk holder instead. i got someone to print for me, so bscailly, my printer got the holder from me also... easier mah. then i added a little card which states all the details of the wedding.
