hello BTBs

I am having a small dinner of less than 15 tables and found Park Palace at Grand Park City Hall. Location is good and place is cozy.. most importantly, its in a hotel so I got all the perks like foc room and wine.

but there are no reviews on the food so far. from wat i know, the restuarant is abt 2 years old and seldom hold banquets, only abt 2 per month.

need some reviews on the service and food there...

it can accomodate 15 tables nicely.. most impt, i like it cos its in a hotel setting but restaurant food.. haven tried the food before though..

hello... I am thinking to have it at park palace too. My AD is Nov 2010. Kindly feedback on the food after you have tasted.

U think the place looks good after the deco?

Has anyone been to Park Palace for wedding dinner b4? We are considering holding our banquet at this Mezzanine Level of GPCH but didn't manage to see any review of this ballroom in the forum.

We would like to know if the ballroom is pillar-less? Is the ballroom spacious enough for 20 tables? How's the food ratings (I suppose should be the same as GPCH)?

i had my wedding there in oct last year.

had good reviews from guests on the food. we had 3 vegetarian guests who commented that the food was good too..

feedback in general was good cos its a small and cozy restuarant. i like the layout though it has pillars but it didnt feel as overwhleming as a big ball room.

i had 15 tables in total. the restuarant can fit up to 18 tables but it will be cramped.

i will reccomend poeple who are having less than 15 tables to consider them

the manager is CK Shek right?

15 is just nice. 20 will be very tight.

they will put the tables in the pte rooms but open up the walls. will still have pillars thgh.

so the guest need to walk out to see the montage.
i like it cos its a cozy feeling and the food is good.

ck shek quite friendly n his from hk, the place is quite nice n look quite similar to PJ, location also ok but parking or drive there maybe a little problems, few tables will block by the pillar n cant see the front, the package price for 2012 had go up n bit crazy with the diff compare to this yr de ... if not i quite like the place.

Sumi: pls note, the place is blocked by pillars... if u looking for simple restaurant.. u can consdier peony jade. i'm having mine there.....

park palace price is more ex than peony.. n their set up is not as wedding-like.. good thing is its in a hotel...

sumi: how many tables u hav? i think if u hav the min: 12 tables, den its fine. else, will be blocked.

not say VERY bad. but i think since peony jade is better, i choose tat instead....

hmm hav u considered si chuan dou hua at parkroyal? i went there to see too. deco not bad. they are going to reno in aug.. to become pillarless. but i didnt like it cos i dun like parkroyal hotel.. seems v lok cok ... but restaurant and food wise, scdh is good...
