The privileges can be seen at the below link

http://www.tunglok.com/chinois/wedding.html

You will have to negotiate with the restaurant (eg. if you don't want certain privileges, you can exchange for other things). I have placed deposit of $2,140/-. Take over at $1,900/-(neg).

Wedding Date: Flexible Date in 2010(Negotiable)
Venue: Antica Ballroom (Negotiable)

Please email me at [email protected] if you are interested.

Am letting go my package deposit due to increase in my guest list.

Date: 16/01/2010 (Sat) or any avail dates in 2010
Hotel: Orchard Parade Hotel

I have paid a deposit of $2140 hence am just transferring the deposit. Package details can still be negotiated with the sales person - Cornelius (either the ballroom or the restaurant, perks, etc).

http://www.tunglok.com/chinois/wedding.html

Located in Orchard Road, the venue is ideal if you are looking at between 20-30 tables, with food served from Tung Lok.

I'm willing to give a discount for the deposit paid, which would in turn be a cash rebate for you.

please email me for details and date required if anyone is interested.

Anyone recently had their weddin dinner at oph, can share e design of e invitation card?

One forumer mentioned (in 2007) that there are 2 different designs for the card, on www.focal-ad.com under 'Contemporary' under the 60 cents value ones. It comes in either ivory or red. But I only found one design under 60cents in ivory.

Dear all,

I am letting go my package deposit due to some personal reasons.

Date: 01/01/2010 (Friday)

Hotel: Orchard Parade Hotel (Ballroom)

I have paid 2 deposits of S$2,140 each (total: S$4,280) hence I am just transferring the deposits. Package details can still be negotiated with the sales person - Mr Eric (HP: 9661 3953).

If you are looking at between 20-27 tables, with food served from Tung Lok, then this is a suitable package for you.

I'm willing to give a discount for the deposit paid, which would in turn be a cash rebate for you.

If anyone is interested, kindly email me @ [email protected] or call me @ 9108 7464.

Hi,

Considering the anitca ballroom. Any pictures to share? Do I need to rent my own AV equipment? or rental fee is charged by the hotel? Seems like a pretty rundown place but I don't have much choice, in terms of budget and availabilty of dates.

Please advise. Thanks

Club Chinois will be relocating to a new place.
Now it is called as Tung Lok Classics in this Orchard Parade Hotel.

They Have rebranded the restaurant, but it is still managed by tunglok, food and services are still the same as previous club chinois. So, there should be no worry on product and services,....

Attended a dinner last week at the ballroom. The food was catered by Tung Lok Classics. Food quality and service still very good

, there is no drop in service level and food quality as before. The last wedding I have attended was in Feb 2009 when it was under Club Chinois.

Hi, if i hold my wedding at OPH, i can choose to hold at Tung lok classic restaurant or Antica ballroom is it? A bit confused. Saw Tunglok's floor plan..got 10 tables in private room leh.. A bit weird.

juz attended a wedding dinner at OPH... food nt bad but sound system is terrible. cant hear the emcees at all. plus the stage is too small n cramped, and those sitting at the side couldnt see the emcees as the projector blocked the entire vision for both left and right side.in the end, the emcees are demoralised as their voices couldnt be heard... guess OPH shd do something to the manual projector too. they took some time to set up and move out the equipments which is very distracting.

Hi, OPH really that bad ah? i have been to a wedding dinner where the emcees couldn't be heard and everyone was talking among themselves. Very distracting..
I was thinking of having OPH as my first choice because of budget + good food..
you think overall..OPH still acceptable? hvnt been down to meet eric yet..

Hi chipanddale
looks like this thread not really active anymore. anyway, u can go down to have a look. the restaurant's layout is quite weird because there will be 10 tables which will be in a private room. Eric (OPH co-ordinator) told me the guests there will not be able to view the montage, march-in and stage because it is enclosed.
as for the ballroom, it looks ok for me. I booked for my AD with Eric already. -ve things are dat: (1) i think 2 or 3 tables at each side of the stage cannot see the screen because it is parallel to the screen. (2) ceiling quite low
if these 2 are not major concerns, then it should b ok for u.

Hi, I would like to know if anyone has held their wedding there recently? I have max 23 tables and am not sure whether to go for the ballroom or club chinos. Does it feel very cramped?
Thanks.

Hi Wong,

I just signed up for Tung Lok at Orchard Parade.
25table minimum. However Eric (the senior sales manager) was able to let me set 24 tables and 1 table to be consumed within 6 months..so u still have to pay for 25 tables..
I believe 25 is just ok..if u go for 30 then it's going to be cramped.
This will be for the ballroom, did not go into their restuarant.

Thanks xaiba. Unfortunately, I don't have that many tables. Will have to look elsewhere. Good luck with your wedding prep and congratulations!
