New BTO with Fiance

Hi, i am keen to apply for a new BTO with my Fiance, however our income exceed by $300 combined

Was wondering if any one here had successfully appealed to HDB in regards on the income ceiling, and also during with phase should we start to appeal? Can we even try applying for a BTO during the new flats launches phase?

There is reason for a cap. When you ask if you could appeal, on what is the basis of your appeal? E.g. you have some extra ordinary high financial burden justify why your exceed income ceiling could be exempted.

I read somewhere that it may be possible if you can show you are giving your parents allowance monthly, which brings down your salary to lower than the cap.

I cannot confirm that though! Didn't go through that myself. Just sharing to see if there's an avenue for TS to try!

why not you try to go for HUDC instead of BTO ? if you want to appeal try going to your MP for help/advice
