Need Advice for Guo Da Li “过大礼”

Dear All,

Need some advice here for Guo Da Li “过大礼”. Understand guy side will usually give the lady side two bottles of hard liquor. Do you all usually give Martell V.S.O.P or Cordon Bleu? Price can differ quite a lot, what’s an average hard liquor you all would recommend that’s presentable and don’t look too cheapo?

And also any good place to recommend getting roast suckling pig too?

Hi Barefooter, I think VSOP or Cordon Bleu really depends on the groom side?
My IL gave us the normal VSOP cause after all, bride side gave 2 btls of orange juice in return only.?

roast suckling pig, perhaps you can try Ubi area? I know there are 2 there. Ubi Road 1 if I'm not wrong? diagonally across AZtech building.

I think it really depends from family to family.

For our case, we are going to buy hard liquor that my family members drink, rather than just go with the usual XO. It may cost more, but we figured we would rather give something that they will drink rather than let it collect dust on the shelves. So maybe talk to your in-laws and see?
