Hi Master Tong,

Thanks for your prompt reply..I'm impressed!

I heard from my friend that November 2010 is a month breaker (the 10th month in lunar calendar) and it's bad to have a wedding during that whole month.
Is this true? It doesn't seem to be mentioned in any website that have the auspicious dates listing.

Can I have your opinion on this?

Cheers!

HI Master Tong,

Reckon you are back in SG.

Please kindly provide good date for renovating master toilet.

The months would be Nov and early Dec as we are getting married in Jan.

Also, good date and time for fixing ceiling fan and also curtain rods (weekend if possible)in Nov or Dec 2009. Can be different or same day.

Couple occupying the house would be : Rooster and Snake

Thanks!

Hi winni3,

Thanks for registering for the seminar. I am sure you will gain much information out of it

Is your tea ceremony and fetch the bride on the 23rd? And your ROM on the 23rd Oct too? If everything is on the 23rd, and 24th is just a banquet dinner, you can still choose a good date if you want to (no harm doing so ..), but not so critical anymore since nothing "major" is on the 24th Oct.

Hi Lala,

This date is a general tong shu good date for wedding and clash to Rat. Since none of you are born in yr of the Rat (bride's dad not counted as he already passed away), generally it is ok to use this day.

Note that Bazi is not taken into consideration yet. Hope this helps

Hi Jessica,

Here are the analysis for your dates:

2 Oct - Not a general good date for wedding
6 Nov, 27 Nov - Both are very bad dates for wedding. Avoid at all cost.
4 Dec, 25 Dec - Both are not general tong shu good dates for wedding.

If you are looking at general dates, you may have to pick some other dates. Hope this helps

Hi Lara,

Not that is not true. It should be in August (Monkey month clashes with Tiger year) for year 2010 (7th Aug - 7th Sept), which happens to overlap partially with the 7th lunar month in year 2010.

November is perfectly ok for marriage. Not to worry

Hi dreamz,

Here are some general dates you can use for renovation (note that the direction of the house is not taken into consideration, which by right should be as that is the proper method of selecting dates...)

- 12/11, 17/11, 21/11, 05/12, 06/12, 11/12

You can use these dates for either one or both renovations together. it is the same

Once you decide which day you want to do it, let me know and i can advise you the timing.

Hope this helps

Hi Master Tong,

Would like to check with you, eventhough we do not need our siblings and grandparents' birthdate and year for the calculation for a good wedding date. But if the date chosen clashed with either one of them, what can be done?
Heard that for those who clashed with the wedding date, it is better for them to avoid the whole wedding activities and attend the banquet only. But siblings and grandparents are people close to us, it would not be right to exclude them from this impt occasion. Is there anyway to go around it? Thanks.

Hi lobang,

Here are the analysis for your dates:

6 Mar 2010 - Not a general tong shu good date for wedding
13 Mar 2010 - Not a ideal day for wedding
24 Apr 2010 - Not a general tong shu good date for wedding
1 May 2010 - Clash to Snake. Cannot use.
8 May 2010 - Clash with Rat. Cannot use.

Hence none of these dates are suitable. Hope this helps

Hi yveyve18,

For those who clash, they have to "hide" before the groom steps into the house. After the groom steps in, they can come out. They can still be around during the morning wedding activities.

It is impossible to include them coz if you have 3 siblings, your spouse have 3 sibling, plus parents from both sides, plus 2 of you, and all of you have different animal signs, then all 12 signs clashes...which means you don't have to get married already

Hi hellogirl,

I advised u to change the month coz there are no good weekends dates in the months you specify.

For Nov -Dec; here are some wkend dates you can use:

- 18/12

Only this weekend is a general tong shu auspicious date that doesn't clash to any of you for Nov-Dec 2010. Note that Bazi is not taken into consideration yet.

Hope this helps

Hi gg tan,

Need your parents animal signs. Birth yr alone cannot determine the signs coz if your parents are born in Jan, it will be the sign before.

Thanks Master Tong

Just to check, we have actually ROM and the dates we wanted to get is mainly for the usual chinese customary like gatecrashing, fetch bride, tea ceremony, etc. So isn't very critical to have good date for this customary since all the dates we provided are not suitable and we have also ROM (which is already considered married)?

If is critical, what are the dates (saturday only) you will recommend taking into account ours and our parents' chinese zodiac?

Thanks
