I understand that the tong shu is not out yet. We are planning to have a wedding next year (2014). Pls advise if the year is good to go.

Yes it will be 100days before and after your wedding (to be specific). So you can count forward and backward to see if it coincides with other weddings

Both dates are bad dates for wedding. 7/12 - 5/1 is 2014 is Sui Po (that is, the month clashes to the year, hence a bad month for wedding). Usually we try to avoid choosing this mth if possible

Both dates are general tong shu good dates for wedding. So either ok.

*Note that both your Bazi Destiny Chart are not taken into consideration yet. A good date in the Tong Shu can still be deemed as inauspicious if the date and both your destiny chart are not compatible*

Your dad is rabbit, not tiger. Li chun 4th feb is the transition date, not cny. You can read my article on my website www.chineseweddingdates.com for more info on how to calculate this accurately.

5/10 clash rabbit. 24/10 is a super bad day. 28/12 clash rabbit too. All dates r out

We would like to get ROM in 1st March 2014. Traditional wedding banquet will be either 2015 or 2016. Pls advise if our ROM date is okay for us. Would also appreciate your kind advise on a auspicious date for us to hold the traditional banquet preferably on a weekend for 2015 or 2016.

The tong Shu for 2014 will only be out ard aug or sept, hence if you are looking at only general dates, I can only advise after it is out

1/3/2014 clashes to Ox, one of your parents hence cannot use that day for rom

The Almanac will only be out the year before, hence 2015 or 2016 is too early to select now.

That is just a superstition with no basis or logic in feng shui. Hence it is can used for wedding. If your parents are paranoid abt it, you still have to please them

Hi Master Tong,

I just get rom on 11 june this year and my banquet will be held on 3rd quarter of 2014.
But this year, i've 3 jiemei who asked me to be their bridesmaid which will add up to the 10th time for me being a jie mei. I heard ppl say the more jie mei i do, the more i will 嫁不出. So if i'm rom but yet to banquet, will things happen and cause me to 嫁不出?

And also can i attend friend wedding within 3 mths of my rom?

The no of times to do jie mei is pure hearsay with no feng shui logic. If your own bazi destiny chart have good marriage luck, you can do 20 times and you still have a loving marriage, and vice versa, so not to worry abt this :)

And 3 mths before and after your ROM , you cannot attend red/white events.

by right siblings cannot get married same year . if no choice it must be at least 100 days apart., else will clash and bring bad luck to both parties (besides cannot attend each other's wedding). No magic solution. The solution is to talk to each other and compromise .

Applicable to both rom and wedding day, as both are red events. So if you split into 2 events, then the rules applies to both :)

Just make sure dont clash both of you n parents. Siblings must hv to hide during fetch the bride n cannot be your xiong di jie Mei

Tong Shu will only b out maybe in end aug or sept. you can buy from shops that sell those joss sticks etc
