Yes 2012 is not a good yr for you, hence if you can, do it in Jan 2012 (still Rabbit yr) or 2013.

Let me know after you decide. And if you still want 2012, let me know which months you looking at.

Thanks for your previous advice. We need to hold the wedding on a Sunday within the eighth lunar mth to please both parents. Hence we had struck out all the dates that clash with ourselves n our parents. It leaves us with only 16 sep 2012. Understand that it is a wei ri n not auspicious for wedding. But saw one version of chinese calendar 2012 that it is auspicious for wedding. However we have no other choice. Can u kindly advise if there is anything we can do or prevent to ensure a smooth day on actual wedding? Very worried. Attached the details for your reference again. Want to please n pacify parents but want our wedding to be smooth too. Thanks again..

Bride: Oct 1978

Groom's Father: Snake, 1953
Groom's Mother: Pig, 1959

As bride is born Dog yr, 2012 dragon yr clashes to dog, hence not a gd year for wedding/ROM. For 2013, it is snake yr and clash to pig, which is the groom. Hence the best yr will be this year 2011 (latest Jan 2012)

Actually to ensure if it is a smooth wedding or not etc depends whether if the date is compatible with both your bazi or not. Tong shu can say it is a super good date, but if not compatible with both your bazi, the date is still inauspicious and as good as none.

Hence for general tong shu dates, you can only choose or not choose that day. U can get a gd timing for fetch the bride and ROM too, which doesn't really affect much (it affects more of your future marriage). I guess there isn't anything else you can do except these.

- 15/11, 27/11, 09/12, 13/12, 21/12

These are the only general gd dates that don't clash to any of you in that period
