Mascara - Pls recommend your fav. brand

I've bought dejavu fibrewig from SASA.. kinda disappointed with it.. cos when i apply the mascara after i curled my lashes with the eyelash curler, the mascara actually straighten the lashes again. Wasted my efforts in curling them.. it does have fibres that will "attach" to your lashed to make it look longer but it difficult to make it look even, i.e. you'll have some short and some long lashes.

but then again the pro is that it will not cause panda eyes. As i have oily eyelids, even the waterproof mascaras doesn't work for me. At the end of the day, the lower lids will have a dark patch, even worse then dark eye circles. sometime even after half a day if i didn't curl my lashes "high" enough.. haha.


Another thing is, when i bought the dejavu fibrewig, the sales person recommended the Mavala "thing" to me, saying that it will lengthen and improve the growth of lashes.. Has anyone tried this product? Its selling at $16+.

the sales girl was promoting fiberwing to me (she was wearing it) but actually she looked a bit scary to me because it was thick and clumpy.Not sure if it's the way she put it but it turned me off the brand.

I opt for Lancome and HR(Japan brand). Lancome L'Extreme is good to lengthen the lashes without clumps and HR Vertiginous 108 is good for thickening while help with lengthening too.

Not too sure if I can help, I am a big fan of mascara, like to try different brands.. these few are my recommendations..

Majolica marjoca maximum Lash - curls even without using curlers
Cyber colors lash blooming mascara - volumes and lengthening
Palgantong mascara - volumes and lengthening
L'oreal volume shocking - super volume but one minus point.. damn difficult to remove!!
Cineora mascara - not as volumising as the previous few but very attractive packaging
Max factor 2000 - volumes
Fibrewig - Lengthening, not so volumizing but guarantee smudgeproof
Anna Sui Volume - as the brand says.. volumes

Anyone interested to buy electronic eyelash curler?
It has magnetic field which helps to promote growth.
In 5sec, ur lash will curl beautifully and naturally.
This is a better alternative to normal eyelash curler.

Hi can try the Lancome mascara. It lasts whole day & real waterproof. And is easily wash off with facial wash.

Never try anna sui and ysl but am using lancome hynose. good and it lengthens my lashes. easy to remove too

Can you share whether lancome smudge cos i got watery eyes so mascara smudge easily for me. But I quite like majolica brand. it doesnt smudge and last whole day for me

No, it won't smudge. But I suggest u pop by Lancome counter & give it a try first. After all, its $40+ per tube

Hello everyone

I have a problem with mascaras. They will let me have panda eyes even the ones i'm using are waterproof.

I love to put on mascara as they will open up my eyes but i hate the panda eyes effect. It will appear after half a day or after a day of work. Is this because i have oily skin around my eye area?

Does anyone has a better recommendation of the mascara that i should try out?

I vote for Maybelline Volume Turbo Boost waterproof, very volumising! Doesn't weigh down lashes too. No smudge.
Maybelline XXL is very lousy though, only see lengthening, not much volume.
