wat's FASIO? where can i get it? Im using Maybelline's MINI LASH...its the easiest to put on, no smudges (im quite clumsy). im not sure if coverage is enough tho.

Female,
Fasio can be gotten at Watson's, Guardian pharmacy at Bugis MRT, Seiyu, Metro Compass point, OGs..... a lot of places. Just keep a look out for the bright orange signage about Fasio products

Btw, you may want to note that you need to invest in a good make-up removal if you want to try Fasio's mascara.... they are very budge-proof

i dun like maybelline mini lash..doesn't work especially not for asian, where we have thin n sparse lashes, the brush is too thin and the liquid's not thick enuff to bring up any curls..

hi hi
you can try Helena Ruberstein waterproof volumising mascara... not bad, lengthens, thickens and it last! wont smudge.

MAC also very good, for non smudging and can reach the fine lashes too!

Hi all,

Do anyone know where to get (transparent gel) mascara?

Many years ago, I could get from COVER GIRL counter but there isn't any more COVER GIRL in Singapore.

I like to use gel type as I found it more natural compared to Tinted Liquid type. (I have natural long lashes so when I use black liquid mascara, my lashes look very fake, like those doll type)

loreal amscar does clump quite a bit..but the textuer seems rpetty gd and thick as it can bring up the curls.. and expand our eyes

I like Loreal mascara. Have tried the Longitude, Intensifique and Lash Architect. Think the last two are the best!

The other time Watsons was selling Loreal mascaras at 50% off. Not sure if they are still having that promotion though.

Baby Von,
You tried their latest mascara from Loreal? It's priced at $23.90 right? Lash Architect used to cost tt much too.. I wonder if they will reduce the price of it since now they have to promote the new item.. oh, and if you have tried it, is it cumbersome to apply the base coat then the black coat?

keen to try Loreal Architect too, but i'm a bit worried if it will make the lashes too volumed or too thick.
I prefer something more natural and curled look.

any comment?

T0ffee,

I heard Lancome is quite a good brand, albeit expensive. My colleague's using Lancome, and it really provides thick lashes. It also helps tt she uses the curler. For me, I don't want to spend tt much money on mascara, so I prefer Loreal. :B

Lilacz,

I didn't notice about the brushes. If I'm not wrong, Loreal always promotes its new washable mascara, then months later, the water-proof ones. For Intensifique, the golds are the washable ones, the blues water-proof. For Lash Architect, the silvers are washable ones while the blues are water-proof.

Hi Snowflake,

I haven't tried tt but planning to aft my Loreal Architect finishes. My frd's using & i can see the difference...Her lashes reali seemed extended!
wink.gif

Yup, Loreal mascara...those tt i tried, includ'g Architect, do turn lumpy
sad.gif
but i'll just clean the brush with a tissue each time after apply'g.

Hello Lollipop,

Yup, Lancome's mascara's good but kinda expensive. Seems tt Loreal & Lancome's under the same company now...so i presumed tt Loreal's just the cheaper version & it's as good...afterall, it's best to use the mascara for up to 3-4 mths & it'll be time to discard, for hygiene purposes.

The last time i tried the Max Factor 2000 mascara was reali good too but it's no longer available here.

Hi Toffee,

If u like the super long lashes, do go for the Loreal's latest Extention Mascara. from wat i observed, it's better than the Architect. If u hv frds go'g to the States, ask them to get it for u 'cos it's abt $5-$6 cheaper than Sin. Cheers!

Hi Gals,
How about curlers? Anyone has good recommendations? I'm currently using a 2nd set of Shu Uemura curlers. It doesn't seem to work as well as the 1st set. I'm thinking of changing. Anyone knows of any good curlers? Thanks!

I started using the Loreal Architect, very disappointed.I think mine is not waterproof, so it smudges after some time. Moreover it has clumps after it drys up...

May i ask does Lancome has a few types of mascara or only one type? How much is it?I think im going to switch brand...

i absolutely love the estee lauder Magnascopic Maiximum Volume Mascara! works really well for me... if you would like to test it out first, may i suggest that you get a copy of cleo now cause it comes with that mini free mascara!

Hi Michellexxx,

I just bought the Magnascopic Mascara from Estee Lauder but was disappointed with the results. Somehow after i applied it on my lashes, my curls just 'dropped' and straightened. Could it be that the formula is too thick & heavy? My lashes are quite long and somehow it just straigtens my lashes like a washboard! Or did I apply it wrongly? No doubt it does add volume to the lashes but it is still clumpy...sigh

i have been using shu uemura's lengthening mascaras for years. It is good!

I used to have problems with mascaras smudging and make me look like a panda despite the fact they were waterproof ones.

I will strongly recommend Shu Uemura's lengthening mascara as does not smudge and even when I teared or cried.

i dun like LOREAL masacara. doesn't give me the effect it promised. I loveeee MAYBELLINE! cheap n good! I used 2 mascara - mini brush + 360 degree lengten n volume mascaras. 2 in 1 = long n thick lashes!

those who love lancome can try using mini brush before ur lancome's......kekeke....or put fake lashes..coolz....long long n black black lashes, yet dun look wayang. ;p

think i will buy lancome....any special brand? why there isn't lengthen + volume mascara....save $$ ;pp

hi! i'm not sure if you all have heard of Anna Sui. but i can tell you her mascara is so far, i'm most satisfied with. I've tried loreal, bobbi brown, maybelline etc, most were either not that curl enough or worst, some smudge and makes me look like a panda!
Anna Sui's Long masacara is superb. it has fibres where it will stick on to your lashes as you brush it through. so it'll look longer and yet fuller! cos maybe it helps to curl up and it stays up too! so it seldom smudge underneath.
try it.... very nice

The best mascara i ever used. YSL False Lash Effects. No mascara can compete with it if you are looking for doll-like lashes. I have all the colours and been using for the past 2 years.
Costs around 40 i think.. used to be 38.. can check it out at takashimaya..
