Hi Stary,

Maple dosen't not only treat outbreak. My skin is actually flawless but pretty particular abt my blackheads so went to c DOC... Not sure about the product u mention it is better to consult the doc instead.

The charges are $15 for consultation fees and actually just found out that the products are cheaper compared to NIKS original price (W/o 10 percent) and the salon that carried NIKS in bencoleen (Bugis) is much cheaper than NIKS coz not GST...

Cheers

Lazy to queue for the clinic, can just pay $2 for someone to get the number for you. Just let the person know when u want to go down. And arrangement can be made. Once taken the number and estimated time will be informed, so u need not waste yr time waiting there. Or you wan the product to delivered to your doorstep just pay $2 extra too. checkout ebay, and just type maple clinic and search for it.

I called up Maple Clinic just now to ask abt the itchiness.. Well they said that due to the Roaccutane that i took from the last doc, my skin is now very dry.. So because of tt my skin is itchy. She said to increase the amt of skin repair cream (moisturiser) and sunblock tt i shld use. She also mentioned that i shld give it a few more days for the itchiness to subside..

Jass, maybe u can try callin the clinic to ask them... Ur condition might be different from mine cos u din take Roaccutane before this..

hi gracious, you r right. prolong usage of doc product such as steriod and aha will thin your skin and will become even more sensitive if you stop using their product...

Hi,
Just went to see Dr Ong. After application of the products for one or two days, I noticed that there are small pimples breaking out. Just like to check whether anyone of you encountered this?
Also, do you all apply makeup after applying the products she gave?

Hi cheers,

Pimples appeared coz of the exfoliation of the outer most skin layer therefore impuries will surface. It takes time before the skin clears itself so not to worry but make sure your skin doesn't gets too irritated which is a sign that the application is too strong.

Yes you can apply make up after applyin ght e pdt but rem that since you are using products that exfoliates your skin, sunblock is very CRUCIAL otherwise pigmentation will appear.

All the best

Recently i wore my Loreal powder (2-way cake) over the usual creams and lotions (glycolic gel, coolin gel, clindagel, skin repair cream and sunblock) that Dr Ong prescribed.. Its been quite some time since i last wore the powder as its quite heavy so i converted to Silkygirl compact.. My skin, esp ard the T-zone and cheeks, started to itch pretty bad... Has anyone got this problem before? Pls share...

Hi.. It had been the 2nd visit and i hv seem much improvemnt on my skin, less oily and no breakout. oni scars now. Well, Siti,I dun reli apply much makeup, but there are no itchyness like wat u mention even if i do apply my 2 way cake. Mayb ur skin is sensitive to the compact. Suggest that u stop applying at the moment.

Hi Siti,
I was prescribed the very same medications as you.

One thing to note,i had difficulty puttin on compact/two way cake as it can get a bit cakey,so i asked the dr,she said try to use only loose powder n lightly dust it on.

As for the itch,i think u could be reactin to the products or it is too dryin for you,y dun u ask Dr Ong? I did not encounter such problem.

My skin has greatly improved after consultin with her..so happy now...never see my skin so clear in years!Yipee!

Hi Happielee and jass..

Ya i agree.. Probably my skin is reating to the 2-way cake now. E reason y i converted to a compact is cos the 2-way cake gets too heavy upon application.

I guess ive to ask Dr ong abt her recommendation abt loose powder. Saw some brands at the counter at Maple Clinic...

Ya, its been a couple of months since i first went to her clinic and i hv to say that her products really work. She'll advise you on what to use and how to use them.

And btw, she doesnt really encourage us to take oral medicine unless you request or are really desperate in seein results in a very short time. Maybe you can give her a try. But beware, you have to wait very long to see her. Hehe...

Cheers...

Hi cloudie, I'm not the patient type, but for my beauty, no choice. My waiting time,
1st visit: 4hrs plus
2nd visit: 3hrs
3rd visit: went noon. clinic opens at 2pm, i was there to queue at 1pm, end up still waited till 3plus den can see her. haha..I'm the 1st patient for the noon slot somemore.
Cos she has a few more morning patients waiting till noon den can see her.
Sound so drama rite, but she's worth the wait, cos I reli been to many clinic & ways to cure my face, but alas I found her.
Cheers to good fair skin..
