Hi Ling,
Been there before. i have some pix of the place. You can also access http://www.villafrangipani.com.

The place is beautiful at night. They are a few pavilions and a stage for u to do a solemnisation. There's also a wine bar, just in case it rains. The Indian food there is great! It's very romantic for a wedding ceremony with a small crowd...but it's not cheap. Have to pay for rental and catering of food.

mi FH brgt mi 2 little bali 2 as 1 of the plcs we shortlistd..i liked the feel of the plc,juz tat i tot it felt 2 clustered 4 mi solemnisatn & itz realli 'ulu' & hard 2 find if ya dun drive/noe the plc well..so gave it a miz in the end..

i went down to Little Bali and found that place so-so only. From their website, the place looks big but when i went down, the place is actually quite small and very warm in the afternoon. Dunno why, I felt disappointed.

However, this place is quite unique.

Just my 2 cents.

Just heard from Steven (who is no longer working there) that Little Bali no longer hold events for more than 40 pax in the weekends. So if you have a big crowd you'd have to do it in the weekdays.

Its quite sad to hear that Little Bali no longer hold events for more than 40 pax in the wkends... coz am reli quite keen to explore Little Bali for my ROM... and my guests may exceed 40... plus its on a wkend. Would like to hold a simple tea reception there...

Actually they kept changing their minds on whether to hold weekend parties or not. If they realised that it is good $ for them, why not right?

My suggestion is to give them a call and ask again. Mine was a huge party for about 250 pax. To my knowledge, it is the biggest wedding there to date. I'm sure they might consider a simple tea reception for less than 100.

Yup better to go take a look.

As for the decor, I did minor ones like some table decor on each table and the reception table only. Dun need much cos the place itself is oredi "decorated".

Hi all

Went down to little bali but nobody was around...
So I mailed this guy called Robin...
Took him pretty long to reply to me...
Still checking out some details with him...

They discourage outside catering now & is no longer working with Purple Sage as they have 5 own kitchens of their own.

The package is about $60over +++...

Hope he replies to my further queries...
Quite disappointed with the way he spoke over the phone the other day tho... coz didnt seem friendly & nice...

Hi hitsubi,
Apparently. they changed their event organiser a couple of times oredi. I was glad that I got Steven who is quite experienced. Maybe Robin is a new guy there.

As for catering, my food was recommended by Steven from Patara Thai & Siam Kitchen (halal). He strongly recommended them as their food quality and consistency was good. Heard Purple Sage wasn't consistent with their food quality. Maybe now, Little Bali don't even want to use the ones I got.

As for the way Robin spoke to you, well, sometimes, it is better to meet face to face. Some people just dun have good tele-communication skills.

Anyway, hope all goes well for u just as I did.

Oh, Patara is quite a nice place. Ah, i didnt know that Purple Sage's food quality is not consistent...

Yea, I would think so... since they hv their own kitchens now, doing up a variety of cuisines, was advised that they actually discouraged our own catering now...

Went down once to look for robin... didnt manage to get him... Well, we'll see how it goes...
hope my recee for venue will end this mth!

Oh great that u've decided on Changi Village hotel! They have a nice pool area which overlooks the sea. At sunset, it's really nice!
