hi diamond42,
thank u for answering my query! I m currently using dermalogica and i have stopped using my old salon products for one month already. U mentioned that i shd stop using my current products? Which products shd i stop?
what i m worried about is that my face do not suit dermalogica at all and hence the breakout..what should i apply now? I used active moist, smoothing cream, derma clay,ultracalm and daily microfoliant. Thanks, diamond!

Hi spagal,

You are welcome. Err...i am only just telling you what my therapist at Compasspoint LD told me whenever i have breakouts. So i was told that i should not used daily microfoliant and active moist for my skin because of the breakouts. Daily microfoliant will irritant my skin to have more breakouts as it is unstable and active moist is too rich for breakouts too. Not sure will it help you but i think you should go back to your therapist. If not, drop by Leonard drake any outlet will do and explain to the therapist that serve you about your products concern as well as get a skin analysis done.

Thanks again for your help. I was once at leonard drake for analysis and facials but find too expensive. Now going to these neighbourhood salon that sells dermalogica. After seeing the condition of my face, she recommends oil control which makes it even worse coz my face becomes v dry and blotchy. Therefore, i don't know what to do now. My face is v dry nw..so dunno what to use for my daily skin care regimen....

Hi spagal,

So i see...that is why i stick to LD even though their treatments is expensive. I went to neighbourhood salon that used dermalogica products for facial once and after that i dare not go again becos she was telling me all the wrong stuffs.

I think you should not use the oil control as i suspected your upper layer of skin is now very dehydrated while the underneath layer of skin is very oily.

Why not you go back to LD just for a product consulation? I mean they are not hardsell type.

I think you should be using the range for sensitive skin now.

If not, you want to try to go to the skin specialist that i sometimes pop by whenever i have a skin allergy. Here is the clinic no: 63383491.

I think you should be stopping the daily microfoliant as well as the active moist. You should be using the ultracalming cleanser and the gentle soothing toner for your face. Use the ultracalming cleanser as both your day and night cleanser. DO NOT USE the special cleansing gel anymore. I can only advised you till here as these are what my therapist asked me to do when i had a bad breakout in Jan 05.

You should be applying the antibacterial mask onto problem areas only. The cheek area should be using the skin hydrating mask. The skin hydrating mask should be washed off after 5 mins putting on.

Thanks for being so helpful! I only use ultracalming and hydrating mask. Can I use refining mask? Yday, i smart alek saw my pimply bumpy face and use daily microfoliant and refining mask and today is even WORSE!!!
what moisturizer do u suggest i use now? i still have smoothing cream...

You are welcome. I don't use refining mask at all so i don't know. Sorry about it. If you feel that after using refining mask, it is even worst. Then stopped it.

I think now, you should use skin hydrating boaster as well as skin smoothing cream. Skin hydrating boaster is excellent! I have been using it.

Yes there is one counter at the Korea airport.
Not necessarily to buy at the airport cos it is not duty free. There is a Korean website that sells Laneige stuff. The price is even cheaper than what u can get at the airport..and they give samples for u to try too.

I am using special cleansing gel, essential cleansing solution, hydrating mask, SPF30 sunblock boaster, multiactive toner.

For laneige:

I am using water bank essence, pore tightening essence, turn and turn essence and vitamin C essence lastly is the water sleeping pack.

I am using Laniege since they launched their products into Singapore 2 yrs ago. Had a BAD BAD experience regarding Laniege Dollars. Also because of the WRONG info given by the counter sales, I ended up even my Laniege membership will not be renewed!!

I had made an effort to even reconfirm the info with Orchard branch and the reply is the same. Now, ended up my Laniege$ earned 2 mths before my membership renewal were all EXPIRED.

Will never trust what the sales said. Even the Sales Manager is saying "It's your words against them (Sales counter girl)" Isn't that is implying that I am lying, so insulting. Guess that will end my relationship with Laniege. So sad

Has anyone used the eye designer cream before? Is it good? I am looking for a eye cream for fine lines. I am using Laneige sensitive skincare range (skin refiner, emulsion and essence) and find the products pretty good...Tried a sample of the future age eye serum, but it is not too good for lines.

If anyone has tried the eye designer cream, please let me know if it is good

If u are already using turn and turn essence, are u still using a scrubs since this have exfoliating effect. I'm currently using e origins never dull-a-moment facial scrub. It also contains papaya enzymes. Not sure if it would be too strong if i use both products concurrently ? I'm also using the rest of the Laneige stuff in your list
