Lets Be Curious! Did you know why is the wedding ring worn on the 4th finger? Apparently, the Chinese came up with a theory of how every five finger on the left hand represents your past, present and future. Thumb= Family... Index finger= Siblings Middle Finger= Yourself Ring finger= Life partner Little finger= Little children Now it’s time for a little experiment. Firstly, place your hands together and only bend your middle fingers. After which, you try to pry your other fingers apart, one at a time! You will realise that it is impossible (and extremely painful) to do so only for your ring finger! That's because you are meant to spend a lifetime with your partner! That's why the wedding ring is always worn on the ring finger, typically on the left hand wink emoticon
