He's a very good solemnizer. My ROM was at my house and he conducted a professionally session. My guests are quite impressed.

Cheers

From ROM website, he is not a JP. He is a grassroots leader.

Hi stjt, received your PM. Eric Wong is very good and friendly. He's very clear and responsible also. I didn't meet up with him before solemnization but he was on time. Solemnization was 645pm, but he arrived at the venue at 545pm!

Hmm... I guess it helps to clarify with the solemnizer what to expect during the solemnization.. I guess some couples would like to kiss, others may not want to kiss... in my case, he also didn't say groom can kiss the bride, but my husband and I are okay with that. Actually, we would have been quite embarressed if he had asked us to kiss... we're quite conservative!!
I think he meant it as a joke when you called to apologise for the AP incident. I think if he really minded not receiving any AP, he would have showed a black face! After all, solemnizers like him don't receive any reimbursement at all for their trnasport and time ... so they "depend" on our APs to reimbursement them... I read some threads here where solemnizer showed black face cos AP too little $...

He married us in english, but he is very fluent in chinese, although I'm not sure if he would be able to marry in chinese. Why don't you call him to ask? He's nice!

Hi, Can Anyone tell me is it any of the Grassroot leader can be solemniser? Do they need to get any of the license or approver from any of the authority.

Hi,
just want to check on signing of the consent form.
When I contact Mr Wong a few months back, he told me to fax it back and give him a call when done.

Now, I am about to fax and realised that there a box on the bottom right that say "Do Not Fax" as you need to hand over the form during the verfication.

I am confused now. So, can I still fax? Or need to meet up with Mr Wong personally?

Anyone goes by the fax route recently?

Hi Girls,

I had Mr Eric Wong as my JP and i must say, he's very good. I chance upon him at a fren's wedding and decided to have him as my JP as i found him to be quite good in his speech and friendly, always smiling. ON my AD, he proves to be a great help! Guiding me and hubby through the process and keeps on smiling! If u're looking for a JP, look no further, u have 1 right infront of you!
