Japanese/ english solemniser

New Member

I am getting married next year to a Japanese. I wonder how does an international marriage works during ROM in terms of translator?

Is my partner able to recite the oath in Japanese?

And does anyone have a recommended solemniser that speaks both japanese and english.

Thank you

For ROM, as long as your future spouse can speak English and understand what they're saying, there is no need for a translator.
Otherwise they have resource for translators who are certified by the various embassies - you just have to pay the solemnizer + translator.
(Context: spouse-to-be's first language is not one of the four official ones. Not Japanese though.)
