Hi
Tokyo is very easy place to navigate using their subway or the JR loop hence no need too much extensive plannings except for the accomodation. The JNTO website has good suggestion for day itinerary. It's easy to get lost along the long streets of shopping hence just lay back and enjoy the endless shopping streets.

Actually we intend to stay at those Inn whereby hotspring is just inside our rooms any idea whereabout in Tokyu cos really afraid will get lost cos i only intend to stay for maybe 1night and the rest of the 4nights in tokyu.. Any recommendation for Hotel in Tokyu?

Just came back from Guangzhou. For traditional onsen inn, you would probably need to travel up to Nikko or Hakone which is more than 1.5hr away from Toyko city. I dun think there are any good ones in Tokyo city.
Do check out chain hotels like Toyoko Inn (http://www.toyoko-inn.com/e_hotel/00078/index.html), hostel like K's House, Chuo Hotel. Japan generally is a very clean country hence no need to worry that hostels or budget hotels are dirty. Use Trip Adviser guide and info. http://www.sakura-hotel-ikebukuro.com/ in Tokyo was recommended on Tripadviser previously. This is one of the good, clean and well located hotels.

Anyone went Gotemba Outlet Mall? I am not sure if I should stay overnight at Hakone the night before since it is nearer to Gotemba.

Nicxl, if your purpose is just to go Gotemba outlet for shopping, is more economical to stay at cheap hotel around the outlet.
Hotel/Ryokan at Hokone are not cheap and traveling between these 2 point are not exactly near. Is better to stay in Hakone to enjoy the hotspring and the tourist attraction around Hakone.

I am thinking of doing a day at Hakone to see Mt Fuji and other tourist attractions (if any). Then the next day can shop at Gotemba outlet mall. It's just where to stay for the night.
Yah, I tot of staying at Gotemba for the night, but not sure if there are any activities or even a dinner place for the night! Do let me know if you have any good recommendation for good and affordable accom at Gotemba.
I decided to give hotspring a miss becoz it is so so expensive, especially the ensuite ones. For the share onsen, I cant enjoy it with my partner...so a bit defeat the purpose lor... =P

Nicxl, frankly speaking Gotemba shopping is not like US outlet especially in terms of prices and variety. Most time, I go Gotmeba, I come back empty handed.
There is food court at the outlet, and some restuarant around, Fuji High-Q theme park is nearby.

Oic, I was hoping to get sm good bargains for the Japanese brands (eg.issey miyake,pleats please, etc)-saw the gotemba outlet website indicating these jap brands hv outlets there. I hope they don't close down. Ha!

Hi all, I going to Tokyo next month flight delta airline, stay shinjuku sunlite hotel 6d4n include breakfast per pax1k. U have to check the map n station whether the hotel is nearby because shinjuku station have 3 to 4 sub areas.
