Red Umbrella is for shielding you from "unlucky" things that might be surrounding u! The reason for RED is becoz of its auspicious colour!!!

If Dad's not ard, u can ask the elders of ur Dad's family for help like Dad's brother etc.. From what i know, it muz be a MAN!

As for other colours, i doubt we can use as it will be deem as inauspicious! For the umbrella that we use on AD, i've only seen red umbrellas.
Other colours is definately a no-no..
