Hi Naz,
I think it really depends on your crowd. If they are mostly Indians, then an Indian song will do. As far as I know, there aren't any good Tamil songs for march-ins, without bordering on looking too cliche. Perhaps there are Hindi ones.
But if your crowd are non-Indians, please use an Eng song or a musical piece. Otherwise, you will see them giggling.

hey girlies... my temple ceremony's on the 28th of march next year and we're deciding inviations only now! Does anyone have any clue if the price diff between printing in singapore and in malaysia-jb? Is there a huge savings to be made? HTB and i will be driving to jb to scope out joints. Anyone printed in jb?

AK(heartz01) - you can try Nick G*h (replace * with o ), he's very good at indian weddings and knows alot about it. One of the best among all the photographers I've checked out.

Nick is expensive though....
I used The Edge photography and Mirage productions for videography. They are very nice guys who worked extra hours for us without charging.
The end product was also really good.

Yup, Nick is expensive, but then again really depends on each individual's budget and what quality/specifications you're looking for... so it's best to shop around and not only scout for the best prices but also a photographer who makes you feel comfy and knows what he/she is doing..
As for me, my fiance and I are not interested in VG so we don't mind spending more money on PG instead.. so really depends on your needs.. just tryna help out =)

Hi there, Im new to this but im darn glad there's a place for me to ask for help. I've done my ROM in July 2008. Planning to do my traditional in Dec 09. wld like some help on PG and VG. and wedding venue too. im so lost with the venue. pls help me in this area. i read someone asking abt MUA. if you are looking for a modern make-up, then you shld try Norehan. She's a famous Mediacorp MUA. she did for my ROM and i loved her. too bad i cant take her for my traditional. if you wan her contact, feel free to ask me. she's gives packages too. Make-up, hair-do, bridal gown and groom suit. price differs for individual. i got a special price as i know her personally since i perform in vasantham. others will differ. but she's damn gd. anyway pls do help me out with the venue. i need a place wher i can do my traditional wedding. no temples pls.. i cant afford to eat vegetarian food on my big day!! LOL!!

Yes, some chinese photographers and videographers have covered indian weddings.. it's best to request to view the pictures of their indian clients so you can get a better example.
chn pg do very gd job but they are quite ex. they go by hrly rated. starting from $250 per hr. u can try harry, he's an indian but does as gd as chn. charges $350 for 120 pics. 93869613

anyone looking to do meni or pedi.. i noe someone who does wonderful job for affordable rates.. charge abt $35 for both french meni and pedi. call jane @ 91814438. tell her that "teacher lash" gave the no. she's my student's mum and she does great job. her skills are learnt in vietnam so her nail art is great.. try her and u wont regret.. i've recommended her to may peeps.. she has done it for my rom and everyone was asking for it..

Hi all, I'm new to dis forum. This forum is sooo informative. My solemnisation is Dec 09. I have booked my photographer fr RedDots. M now sourcing out for Makeup Artist and Photo Studios. Some of the makeup artist. I chanced upon this blog, singaporeindianbrides.blogspot.com and m impressed. I think it is a new blog which features everything u need for a wedding in 1 roof. I've checked out FacesbySarah and vanitysuite.blogspot.com from there and I'm happy with both their works. But I'm still sourcing out for more.

I viewed Image Storey's works too. But m curious abt their pics cos the one with the grp pic is not originally their work, especially the one with the green outfit. I have seen these pic done by a foreign artist.
