I need help for ROM !!!

hi....i am ROM-ing on tis cum december 19...but i still cant find the "perfect place" for it... anione got any suggestions?its for about 30pax...
my budget 800...thanxx

Hi Chris,
be honest hard to find $800 leh... May b u can try look out for restaurant or u can try country club area. Hotel is 'impossible' due dont forget the GSt & Service tax. Good Luck

ya...actually wanted to do garden concept... but after checking with spore botanic gardens,they dun allow food in the park...so sad

Yah 800 bucks is abit difficult to do a rom is garden style. Maybe u can rent a chalet and cater your own foor. I rrem there's one eng style cottage like chalet which might cater to ur garden stlye needs =)

ya.. i think chalet is best for budget ba... but it might be hard to book a chalet le cos Dec sch holidays.. and with 30 pax.. getting the food also a sum le.. mine is at labrador park.. also "garden cum pool cum sea style" de .. See the Glass House Forum.. but there for 30 pax .. the buffet with the taxes also is $56+ le.. for 30 pax u need at least 3K ba.. else hor.. for $800 is still best to do it in ROM then just go to the nearby restn or wat to eat .. 3 tables food also ard 1K ba.. unless u stay in Condo or with your fren's condo, then book a garden .. then can cater to eat inside their condo's function room also nice and cheaper ba can get a $10++pax food menu left abit (at least $100-$200) for decor.... anyway wat your budget is for?? only the venue food or does it includes decor, hand flowers, gowns , PG, VG, ring pillows, AP Box etc??

and with your time constraint plus Dec Peak Marriage Season, you better make a choice fast le.. and I think since you not confirm your venue, you must be not prepare any decor or DIY rite.. if you get outside help to decor a garden theme... you need another few hundreds bucks le.. $800 not possible.. mine is ard $4-5 k for 60 guests(includes, food, decor materials, DIY stuff, rental of glasshouse, MUA, floweres, PG, VG, red wines, accomodations etc)

You amy like to consider booking HortPark. The rates are rather affordable and they do allow caterers to come in and set up the buffet line.
