sm, you're probably right when you say that it will be tougher when they get older. They are probably more angsty and possessive then.

My 7 year old boy has gone for dinner with my ex's gf several times already but I don't think he really understands their relationship because he still talks about us getting back together.

actually it is a bit sad for the children at times. I don't know.. which is worse.. when they are young and don't understand or when they understand and they feel betrayed...

So for us, we just do the best for them.

True and false. No time is false. Like for me, I have time. My youngest is going to be 7 soon and I have a maid.. so not much of an issue.

Children as top priority.. true to a certain sense but when the children gets older, their priority will drop.. so if you are in for a long haul relationship it is fine.. but if you just want companionship without commitment then it should be fine as well as long as the guy gives you time..

Like my eldest daughter is 18.. you think she has so much time for me? No way man..She has her own programme... got to book her for dinner and movie if I want to date her..

Oh, SM, that was her opinion, not mine. I am OK with dating a guy with child. In fact, better for me because I can't spend so much time with him. Got work, family, dog, friends and hobbies also mah.
