hey, try this "Golden Hammer" Ants and Cockroaches Killer. you can get it in HomeFix for just $2.60 a box.

just need to put a bit along the lines of the ants and they will carry back to where their nest is... and with the next 1 to 2 hours, they are gone!

i've tried a few times and it works everytime..

hi jan jan

yah, usually within few hours the ants will disappear. don't need to finish the whole box at once, you just need to pour a small amount along the line where the ants are going to and fro... they will pick the bits back to their nest.

the remaining unused amount, i usually seal it up with tape and keep for next time.

i think should be okay to keep in the kitchen, but not with food items of course.

i suggest you follow the ants line to find out where their nest is, so you can clean up the "dead bodies" if they are within you house compound..

cos one time, i found a "cemetry" of ants in my shoe cabinet, together with bits of the ant-killer they carried back. it was rather yucky as i was not expecting it to be there.

Clean bench tops and cupboards down really well, and then wipe down with a clean damp cloth that has a few drops of essential peppermint oil on it, you may need to apply a few drops of oil a couple of times.

Ants hate the smell of it and it is also environmentally friendly, and safe for humans and children, and no residue powders etc to clean up. Add the big bonus is the kitchen smells fresh and minty.

You know what I discovered last year? Use any of the orange Citrus Cleaners. You can get em in a spray bottle.
Instant knockdown ! Acts as a repellent too, if you keep it up ! I've found that you can even dillute it 50% and it still works instantly.

I'm in San Diego, and this time of the year they come in looking for moisture, usually down my kitchen and bathroom drains.
