To pink cloud (crystal_cloud): Hi. I had my ROM gown on loan to me by my bridal shop. My FH's suite also can loan if we want. I think most of the BS offer this service, maybe 80%. For our BS is by partial payment with different payment terms. Sorry for the last question I dun really understand

last qn is: let's say your ROM is held in Dec 08 and AD in Sep 09. Will the BS allow such time gap when signing for the package?

Or will the BS normally quote "to be entitled to rom package within one year from AD"

Total: $5,100 but if i don't include wedding bands then it's $2909 which is more reasonable.

Proposal ring is also part of ROM cost?? Mine is 0.7++ carat, i don't know how much it is.

like tat seem getin a rom package from BS cheaper..ard $600-800 got gown,coat+MUA+flowers..but at least yours still can own the clothes u buy...HEE

Wow $200-$300 is so expensive.I do not think I want to waste so much money just on ROM.

My MUA is just charging much lesser than that and her package already inclusive of fake lashes and ampoules also. If anyone is keen to get her contact, please email me at [email protected]

yup.. I'm aware that the price of my MUA is quite steep.. But it's based on her experience and I was comfortable with her portfolio.. and my husband was aware about that.. I explained to him and he also thinks that its worth trying it, at least we know whether we like the outcome..Overall we're happy with it.. She did a great job.. (^-^) Once in a lifetime...

I signed up an ROM + overseas shoot package with my BS which now I think was quite silly as I think from the thread above those who signed up for an AD package actually got the ROM dress + (trial) make up FOC.
The ROM package alone cost about 800++ bucks which include 1 short dress or long light one, 1 groom's blazer (not full suit) 1 make up, 1 hair do and 1 bouquet of fresh flowers. The package can be bargained to include father's jacket (no bridemades, no car decor) and a trial makeup without hairdo.. no photography, car or venue included in this package.

Short gown(custom made) + MUA - $ 500 plus
Suit (Custom made) - $ 300 plus
Shoes - have not shop for it
Hand bouquet and venue decoration - still looking around ( any recommendation)
Cupcakes (wedding favour) - $200
Pens with crystal - $100 plus
JP Ang bao - have not decide yet
Photographer - $ 400

That's all for now I think.. Is there anything I missed out?

For proposal, my SO spend about 3.5k for venue and ring.

just done my ROM 3 weeks ago. we spent about S$1200 (including gown, event decoration, wedding favor, photographer, make up artist, event place &etc) for the entire event excluding the get together lunch with our family at JW Marriot Hotel.
