For food tasting, are we supposed to make the appt with them or they will call us?

hi gwen, usually 1-2 mths before your weddg, they will call you to arrange a timing for fd tasting.. however you can also contact them if you have any preferred date.

btw they have a wedding show on 11 Oct if anyone is interested..

They wouldn't call anyone during 7th month because some wouldn't like to prepare their wedding stuffs during the 7th month.

yes my wedding is coming in less than 1 month's time.. 10 oct 2009. mine is in temasek room so my maximum is 19 tables.. anyway i've just had my food tasting last week and i find that the food is just ok.. not exactly fantastic..

Sylvia left Traders hotel, am abit sad because she's really nice.

I heard from my friend who attend a wedding and she commented the food quite normal, service quite slow also. If am not wrong, the do provide the angbao box and signature book.

3mths before wedding will be good..its quite fast to print the weddg cards.. dont wait till the last minute.. better to plan earlier..

i called them but they told me to collect during my tasting which is approx a month before my AD

maybe they very bz during this period..

fericia, u can search in this forum under wedding cards..they got discuss the printing services. did they provide u with envelopes? i like temasek room too but so sad my tables exceed the max.

I have settle my printing of wedding cards with Yitai... Yes, they provide us with the envelopes as well.

You might want to call them to pick up your cards first because seriously I think collecting a mth before AD is totally insufficient for us to prepare.

ya i agree with Fericia that collecting the cards 1 mth before wedding is too rush.. u r supposed to distribute your cards to your frens and relatives 1 mth before weddg.. not print before weddg..

but me not sure if the cards will be sufficient cos our friends mostly singles..anybody met with insufficient card situation?

starjoy, notice that your msg time is quite late..try to sleep early and get more beauty sleep these few days..don't exhuast yourself out..

hey all! i will going down this Sunday for their wedding show... the co-ordinator who spoke to me sounded so enthusiastic! Apparently they are going to knock off S$500 of the total bill for those who sign up on that day... and i also heard that they are planning to have hourly draws that will give a free table or something la... wow, that means, its like almost 2 tables off! i have seen the gallery room and my wtb loves it!

I had my wedding at Temasek rm last sat. Everything went smoothly. Relatives and friends commented that the foods were nice, perhaps it's because we pressured them that we want consistent in their food. What we tasted on the food tasting day is what we want on our AD. The cons is that they have a lapsed in their service as they seems short handed. Last few dishes were served in a rush.
