Hi,

I am gg Hk in July . However cant really decide on which hotels to stay in.
Have shortlisted a few - YMCA Salis / Kowloon hotel / Mirammar.
Anyone has any reviews on these few hotels?
Or is there any better ones at <SGD200 (after taxes) and walking distance to MTR and in TST ?
Thanks!

Hi all,

I have compiled a short list of the Htls which I find acceptable and price-wise reasonable. Hope it's useful to all.

Noticed hotel rates in HKG have gone up by quite a bit. When I was there in 2004, a 3 star hotel costs about $105-$120 per night. Now a night cost abt $148 min.

The only thing that draws me to HKG is the sale. So when the shopping bug gets to me, not every year though, can start to make plans loh...

Anyone going to Shenzhen when in HKG ? Can let me have your itinenary. Thanks

tink dorsett olympic is much better than anne black...is quite new...jus opened last yr...anne black is more run-down

nearest mrt for dorsett is olympic...

New Member
lz_leng,

definitely can get astroboy stuff over there.

if u buy comestics over at e counters, probably cheaper by few $ only becos of e exchange rates. bot biotherm & chanel stuff over there, cheaper by $2 or $3 only. my fren would always ask me to buy her biotherm powder as e range couldnt be found here.

Does anyone know how do i get transport from the airport to the hotel?
im thinking staying in metropark mongkok.

taiwanmei

Hi bentley

there is a shuttle bus service from the airport to Metropole, just check with the airport staff.

I like Metropole Mongkok & Kowloon becuase the hotels provide 1/2 hour free shuttle to TST and Mongkok shopping areas

When are you going? We are going from 12 to 17 Sep.

I used to stay in Eaton Hotel and Majestic Hotel is just nearby it. External of the hotel looks not so nice but i heard the interior has improved.

So i wonder how it looks like now.

So when are you going? And how much you pay?

Agency quote us $1180 for 6D5N; Langham Place, Cathay Pacific.
