Hi gals, I am going down to HIOCC to take a look at the orchid ballroom for our wedding in June 2011.. Their wedding perks are really attractive, what are the dishes you choose? Looks like the food is quite good..possible to get more than 30% parking coupons?

We went down to speak to Adeline and put down a deposit straightaway because of their attractive wedding promos and I heard the food is very good too!

No we didn't gal, HIOCC is holding their promos now til end of Dec 2010 and we felt the perks were really quite good that we didn't need to ask for more except for car park complimentary coupons..

You are going to wait for the Jan BOWS? But I thought these r mostly outdoor concepts?

Ours is dinner on a weekend (Sunday) and we didnt ask for additional night stay becoz we really want to go back and be in our new house!

One night is good enough for us!

Dennis, I do not have the pics but we were shown the ballroom when we were there to discuss the pkge..actually you may want to go down too and enquire, no harm, the coordinator is really helpful..she will show you the pics and favours, wedding suite and ballroom..

Hi Muji,

From the pictures on their website, the Orchid ballroom seems abit "oldy". They need me to confirm by Friday to be entitled to their promo offers. I am overseas thus the problem of meeting them before the promo ends. I compare their standard and promo and no diff in perks.

oh..that is really tough coz you need to put hte deposit to confirm the booking.. I actualy think the promo perks differ alot to me.. and the nett price is very worth it with 9 course dinner in Orchard..

Hi HIOCC BTBs,

I had my wedding at HIOCC on 6 March 2011, around 2 months ago and I am very satisfied with their services from sale, customer engagement processes and their deliveries for my wedding. I had Krystal as my coordinator and Eric as my main banquet manager. Both of them are patient & prompt in responding to our requests and they have helped to make my wedding a smooth and memorable one. HIOCC was definitely a great choice to celebrate your biggest day.

For those who are worrying about the pillars, please do not be too concern. The ballroom has 4 big screens which are enough to cover the entire area such that all the guests will still get to see and experience the live happenings during the wedding. On top of that, the Crystal Theme decorations had made the setting extremely grand and beautiful, it felt just like a fairytale when I first march into the ballroom. It was an amazing experience with HIOCC.

My families and friends also gave positive feedbacks for the dishes served during the wedding. Though I was too busy to have my dinner, I managed to taste the last dessert "lotus seed in red bean broth" and it was a sweet & delicious ending for my banquet. In fact, it was Eric who had delivered 2 bowls of dessert and orange juice to our suite after the event. I felt well taken care of from their thoughtful services.

Finally, I would like to thank HIOCC for giving me a wonderful experience and many great memories on my wedding day. For BTBs who are considering, i would highly recommend this hotel to you. Do check out their deals and ballroom to see it for yourself. Most importantly, its your day and your certainly wants it to be the best.

they have the best perks i have seen so far..coupled with a very reasonable pricing and a dedicate and friendly manager, Krystal.

We had a hard time decide between the two..but chose another due to bigger ballroom and more convenient location. A pity that we couldnt work with Krystal on our big day..So BTB, dont hesitate to contact Krystal in anyway..she's good!
