Hi all, Do you guys have the experience of holding the wedding at Holiday Inn Orchard - Orchid ball room ? I would like to hear from all of you regards with their service , coordinator, and food ? Thank you

carriemzp, thank you for sharing experience . My coordinator is Gladys Loh ( Assistant Business Development Manager ). Did your coordinator send sms reminder for the appointment? And did she follow up with your very closely . So far my coordinator is just so so . She promised to send us the soft copy of the contract on Wed , but we haven’t received it from her till my bf sms to her . We were told that her manager just back to office from Holiday and she was waiting her to sign for the approval . But she managed to send us the soft copy on the same date . Is it normal to do so ?

My soft copy contract also took a long time to come. That time was sick plus change management.
I got a feeling the number they gave us is office number. So maybe if not at work, phone most prob in office.
Nevertheless, I think they are quite nice & sincere.

dinner weekday/weekends $1388+
they have like coolgurt and cakes/pastries for cocktail.
pretty nice decor this year they have.. but pricing wise slightly over our budget. they having their in-house event in 20-21jan if im not wrong.. can consider going there to see

A lot of complimentary stuffs, but i think it's like basic which some hotel offers also..
anyway, ytd we went to listen to ramada zhongshan hotel for the first time, and we paid deposit already. Really impressed with everything

Mind to share how much is the cost and package at Ramada Zhongshan. I like the location.
pricing wise, i'm afraid to share as it might be something special given from my coordinator, am afraid it might not be the same.
venue is good, hotel is new (4years old), solemnization area is so pretty, ballroom and pretty and grand too.
we really like it that's why we decided to decide on it right away ytd.. we only listen to 1 preach before this which is holiday inn orchard..
oh!! food!!! im truly amazed by their menu.. they have the usuals that a banquet should have during wedding dinner, but they also have dishes for you to choose if you want something not so normal from the usual dinners.
erm, 1 thing is that they do not have bridal suite... but they give 2 normal rooms (connected). we dont really mind about it la, so we are okay with it
we got to know it cause the fiance went to his friend's wedding dinner there and he thought it was pretty decent and food are nice.. their dessert got avocado aloe vera sago! he says nice la, i dont know.. but something different from usual banquet menu.
though we didnt do much research, but for the price we are paying for, i feel that it's worth it.
