Anyone went to Gold Coast/Brisbane during Jul ? I know it's winter period. Is it very cold or juz need a sweater will do. Thks.

Me going on 18 May. Temp will be bet 17-25 degrees. Can still wear T-shirts & shorts during the day, nice cooling weather..

Low,
Temp will be between 10-20 degree in winter, so u need to bring along jackets/cardigans.. will be quite cold.

I am going to Sydney/Gold Coast Mid Jul, spending 3rd wk of Jul at Gold Coast, what about u? Yes, it will be cold but should be nice.

Your best bet is to stay on the Gold Coast, as that's where the 4 major theme parks are; Movie World, Dreamworld, Wet & Wild and Sea World. I'm not sure about accomodation but there are lots of beach front apartments - try lastminute.com.au and wotif.com
