yuh. Panorama is on the highest floor, same as swimming pool floor. it is very exclusive. and they will close the swimming pool at 6pm. so after 6pm, the whole floor is yrs. =)
Does anyone have pic on Panorama room?. Isst bigger then Vista room? What is the Min table for Panormana room? Seem like they juz finish renovation on Panorama room. Wow.. if they close the swimming pool for us then it be a good deal.
jenny, panormana is smaller than Vista. I saw the room. it is a combination of 3-4 function rooms. i saw the room, a long rectangular shape. Min table for it is 18 tables.
I have collected the card last wk but I have sent it to another printer to print as the CARD shop is more expensive. Should you need the contact, you can email me.
Jenny, sorry tat i did not take any pic on panorama room. maybe you can go down to take a look. the best thing for the room is that its on the highest floor and all the curtain will be opened during dinner. then guest can see the orchard night scene. enjoy..
Jkit,
There window ard the room? That time we went down only saw visit room and grand ballroom. We does not know there another panorama room avaiable. Now in my list is Hyatt and Hilton.
it depends on how many tables u have. i only have 14-15 tables. I went to hyatt, they are not flexible enough to negociate, and the sale man is not friendly either. now in my list is Hilton and Oriental.
I am holding my wedding banquet @ Hilton Panorama room this december.
For the Panorama room, 1 of the side and front (behind the stage) are full-length windows. So you can see orchard street. Night scene is nice!
How many tables do you intend to have?
Panorama is quite a small room. Max. 24 tables.
So if you have more than this # of tables or the date that you are looking for is not available, they might not show you this.
babdy, thanks for the pic. did you tk this pic? how many tables is this? seems that the table at the corner of the window may not be able to see the stage....right?
went to hilton to take a look at Panorama room again. a bit disappointed as i cannot see orchard road through the windows. it faces orchard hotel and four season hotels. the reception area for the room is quite narrow so that most of the people have to be outside by the pool during cocktail time. but the room is still quite nice.
Thanks Baby for ur pic. It look quite cramp to me. Do u have more pic on it?
Yeah we contact June at that time. She a very nice lady. That time am looking at grand ballroom but i dun like the pillars. Plus i go back home and decides with my bf and we find 30 table we will lose alot of money. So we decided to have a look at Hyatt.
Jkit, ya indeed. Hyatt coordinator is not flexible enough. Very hard to tok to them. Who ur coordinator at hyatt?
If I never remembered wrongly, that day banquet was up to the maximum. 22 tables plus 2 reserve.
Yup. You are right that there are 2 tables that cannot see the stage @ all. That's why usually that 2 tables are used as reserve tables.
As for the reception area, I find it quite okay. Coz that area is just for register purposes. Then all the guests will proceed to the poolside for a drink. Then there is a door that links the pool to the ballroom so guests will attend from there.
baby,
im just a bit worried that all the guest staying by the pool side, it will be a bit crowded.. =P
i dont have so many tables, so i dont think the room will be very cramp...heehee
Have you take a look @ the poolside?
It is very spacious.
Don't think it will be crowded. And moreover most guests will not on time. So not the full # of guests. Max. 80%.
The rest will be late or purposely wanted to give the reception a missed. So by the time they are there, they will go straight into the room.
Anyway, if it is raining on that day, @ the side of the pool, there are still shelter place for guests to stand around.
baby, yuh, u r right.saw the pool area. initially, i wanna do my ROM there, due to the shape of the poolside is not squarish, dropped the idea. but it is still a nice and cosy area.
My co-ordinator is June Wee. A very nice and very experience lady.
Her email address is "[email protected]"
But I think she is on leave till early oct. You can try to email her.
Yi Yi, June is now in Newzland enjoying her holiday liao. will be back early of Oct. In the meanwhile, Jaclyn.Teo([email protected]) is the coordinator.
my AD is only may 20 till now still haven't confirm with June. I am panicking..
btw girls, i think i'm still blur about the room structure... the walk-in june showed us last time was an 'L' shape and it's rather short.... i want a straight (not necessary very long) walk-in. does that mean we must have more tables so that they could open one more partition? if yes, how many??
oh btw anyone seen the new themes? my last (and only) visit to hilton was before the reno. june said she would show us the pics. she told us she'll call us for viewing, till now no news.
The service @ The Card Shop is terrible.
Ask them when my cards will be ready, they ask me to go back and wait for their call.
Then bcoz I just increase 2 more tables, so entitle for more cards. Called them up, they don't even ask for my name or even contact #, yet they claim that they will add in and prepare more cards for me.
Actually the collection of my cards from the card shop was rather smooth. But when we meetup with the staff, he was not very friendly so dun reallie enjoy the experience.
i think the card shop biz is ok. anyway we took the min order and the least cost. Did not do any hot stamping or any fancy stuff bcos the guests also dun care abt the card (I think.) So the cost really did not bother me.
i was attended by a lady and she was pretty ok.
i guess the guy just lacked the personal touch huh?
Hi umm...I had great service from David himself at The card shop le..ummm..anyway was thinking I jsut go to hotel printers to save the problem in case cards got problem..
I dint get hotstamping at all cos the card I chose was really nice..alot of guests commended that the card was sweet even though it was just a simple care.
My was the blue turqouise outter cover in batik at the back ground...I tied additional matching coloured ribbons to make it match the batik prints on the card...it turned out sweet and pure..*wink*
Yesterday banquet was smooth at the Vista (Level 3)...the service captain great service as well as his crews...I must commend Vincent Koh who was on duty that night..
Please remind guests to come early to park as there are limited parking area in Hilton.
Once again...must thank Hilton who F & B Department.
Hi there! I just attended a friend's wedding on sat. I must say the waitresses are really quick and polite. They know when to change the plates, refill soft drinks and are very efficient. The food servings are sufficient. The audio and visual also worked well. Overall quite pleased with the entire ceremony. Somemore got dry ice during march in. Although I'm a BTB at RTP, just to share my comments to u gals out there. No worries BTBs of Hilton!
