Is there really crisis going on? The streets along orchard road are so so crowded over the weekends, everyone's buying and carrying at least 2 shopping bags !!

I guess at this point in time, those who have gone under the axe or suffered a pay cut are only the minority. The majority are not really affected yet. Moreover, with festive sales going on, those who are not affected yet would want to take advantage of the sales to pick up bargain buys. Hence explaning why people are still buying and spending, flocking to car showrooms.

Car is somehow a liability and if you think too much you never buy a car and never will own a car.
Life still go on during recession and if you can afford and you want, just go for it. Provided you can afford lah.

1) check out how much my savings can last me (alt tis shld be done way b4 one loses his/her job i tink)
2) cut on shopping
3) look for new job?
4) decide which liability (e.g. car) to forgo as last resort?

Guess like " no one here " buy shares???

Another angle we see Recession is there is full of opportunities...

i think unless the person is really someone with lots of spare cash...then it will be good to buy and hold.

I mean with the current job market, no one dare to take the risk as it we wont know what will happen to our job...just like my CEO is having meeting with my FC and HR...discusiing about cutting cost...no sure what the impact will be..

Personally there are some shares that worth the buy...however i believe next year feb will be a good time to buy though...
