Guan Yin for new house

Dear all.

Anyone can give any advice?

Currently i am staying with my mum alone and next year i will be shifting to my new place with my Fiancee ( my mum will be coming over to stay too).

Anyway, i am considering to have GuanYin buddha to place in my new place. However i have different views on choosing the Guanyin.

1) My mum of course wants to bring the Current Guanyin from my house over.

2) My fiancee parents like not too keen for us to bring over the current GuanYin . They prefer us to buy a new one over.

So guys, what are your views on this?
Just open view, no right or wrong answer.

Hi Prince,
What is your own point of view? Things to take note of the 2 options:
1) Do invite a master to "invite" your guanyin to your new place to make sure she goes over.
2) Buying a new one would also need someone to "kai guang" for you.

If you are ok with your current Guanyin then why waste money to get a new one? Just personal point of view. After you get new one, the old one also have to invite away.
