Guin guin: not sure how many CC but it's fun!! I actually upset that my hubs wanna eat the rabbit stew but haiz he say wanna try Greek cuisine then ok lo.

Pinky: for me I took the ferry from Mykonos to Santorini. I think the procedure is the same. Ferry tickets can be bought from the city area. For us we ask our hotel staff and they told us exactly where to go to buy tics etc! The Greeks are all super helpful and polite. Just ask them and they will give u crystal clear instructions

very very friendly ppl. U dun need to worry too much abt the ferry tics! Many ferries go to and fro everyday

I took superjet and took only 2 hrs 30 mins from Mykonos to Santorini. Enjoy!!! When are u gg? Rem to bring drivers license!

The price is low, may due to the season. During October, may not a good time to visit Greece island as well.

Just my opinion.

Me and my hubby is going to Greece in Oct (5-15) for F&E. I think Pinky2 is going there around this date???? We will be covering Athen, Santorini and Mykonos.

But i haven book any hotel yet and was looking through some of the tripadvisor recommendation. So do you guys have any good suggestions?

Also, do you think buying ferry tickets on the day is safer or booking it online?? IF there is no ferry to the island, then how??

PLease share your itinerary. Am very interested

Oh ya, do you guys give tips to waiters or the hotel staff/porter??

I will arrive Athens on 5th Oct and taking flight to Santorini on the same day! I will be staying there for 4nights then to Mykonos by ferry for 2 nights and back to Athens by flight.

I'm not so sure of the ferry! Have you checked the price?

Oh...i also arrive on 5th Oct...but will stay at Athens for one nite before taking ferry on 6Oct.. Price is 35.5euros each for blue star.

But looking at the current situation in Athens,still thinking whether to go santorini on 5th Oct by flight or not. I will be arriving athens around 730am. U?? Me took staying Mykonos for 2 nites at same hotel as u, i think so, hehehehe....

Depends on when you go. Santorini is gorgeous. Low season personally I feel is the best. You can get really quality accommodation for a good price and you don't have to fight with other tourist for a beautiful sunset. Unfortunately, the place will seem like a ghost town.
Another place in Greece that I really liked was Meteora.

Ps. Low season is a little pain in the butt cause everything closes insanely early
