Adela: I send u tonight coz the pics are in my PC at home. I'll send u those that the hotel send to me first coz those are in my email.Do check those out first.

Evangeline: Yup the mgr is quite versatile in the terms. Had booked mine with them last sunday. There are pros n cons in this hotel like cons being there is no high ceiling n it's not pillarless. Whereas the pros being the price n e mgr's flexibilty to name a few. So it really depends on what u want. Just my 2cents, hope it helps!

I got e ballroom coz we went down to see e actual setup, realized aft e bar was setup, e foyer looks very small n cramp for e cocktail reception. N we also est tat we gonna increase e no of tables. Ballroom e decor looks ok but gotta forgo e chanderlier lights. on e other hand more private since will only have one function.

Yup, agree tat I booked early coz kiasu. Scare tat it'll be booked given e attractive price n perks given.

FYI, e initial date I wanted was fully booked. N my current date had 2 tentative booking too. So if u can cfm ur dates, book fast. Or can ask Jimmy to reserve for u first.

Thanks once again Kristine, for your pics. We went down to Grand Banquet and saw an actual wedding being carried out on L2. The decorations looked good! Although there are pillars blocking some of the tables, I think we won't be utilising that section because we plan to host not more than 20 tables. Have placed a deposit with Jimmy. Hope the food will be good! ^_^

Any other BTBs can share your past experience at this hotel, particularly about the food? It would be very much appreciated! Cheers to all.

i just booked my wedding there for the 11/11/11. im taking the $698 package. jimmy was kind enough to deduct $40 for each table for me. he also gave me a much better hotel room with bedroom, living room and kitchen! hopefully the banquet itself will be as good.

Hi all, may I know if there is an additional rental charge for the level 3 ballroom? According to Ken, I need to pay for rental (to hotel) if I want the ballroom instead of the restaurant venue.

I had my wedding dinner at Grand Banquet, Royal Queen's Hotel on 23rd Sept 2011. I would like to compliment the superb service delivered by Ken, the manager, Andy and his team. Thank you so much. the wedding went on smoothly and most of my guests compliment that the food were really delicious. Ken is very professional and patient. Really love your service. if you're looking for good food, good service, lower budget, should really use them!! Recommended! i will definitely go back there for other special occasions. ^-^

Hi all

I had attended my brother’s wedding held at Grand Banquet (Hotel Royal @ Queens) on 3rd Dec 2011.

On behalf my brother, which is the Groom Tony & Bride Sandy, I’ll like to take this opportunity to give a special thanks to Mr Andy Chang & his team for their great assistance
throughout the joyous event.

We were very pleased with the food, decos and service from the hotel. The effort from the team is deserves a thumbs up!

After sending off our guest, we thought we could be calling it a day.

Unfortunately, one of our guests was so happy for us that he got himself drunk, and fell off from the stairs.

After knowing this little mishap, Andy led his team and offered immediate attention to my injured guest.

Andy advice that our injured guest would require a stitch to stop the bleeding, hence without a second thought, he called for an ambulance.

His team then held our guest up and carried him to a resting area. They had provided unattentive care for our guest, while he awaits the ambulance.

With the team’s effort, my brother was so relieved that he would be pardoned for not being able to play a good host.

Once again, a great thank you & Congratulations on acquiring such a good team!

Hi,

Is there a difference between FLB and GB? The prices are the same and both in Hotel Royal. I'm also a BTB in 2012, considering this place. Thanks!

Kristine, could you send the photos of set up for GB to me too? Thanks. [email protected]

Both the outgoing manager, Vincent and incoming manager, Christian, from Grand Banquet @ Queens were fabulous! Christian took over from Vincent and was attentive and detailed-oriented. Christian was also very caring and ensured both of us (Groom and Bride) were properly fed before the evening dinner commenced. Held my banquet there on 8 Dec 2012. Good value for money and what made it better was Christian, the restaurant manager, who was more than willing to go the distance to ensure you have a good celebration!

A wonderful place to have your wedding dinner.

Very sincere & excellent service. Christian and his team did a fantastic job on our big day. The food was awesome, Christian was personally messaging us the night before to ensure and assure the both of us that everything was okay and that we needed ample rest!

Overall, the venue is great, easy to access via mrt. Staff of the restaurant and hotel was very polite and friendly. Food is fantastic! Christian the manager, great person & very helpful, always on standby and will answer all your questions.

You cannot find a better overall package with such a good team to ensure that your big day goes smoothly!

Hi , my wife and i had our Wedding dinner at Fu Lin Men at Hotel Royal @ Queens on 16th Dec 2013. Feedback from our guests was that the food were delicious and the service staff were very attentive as it a group of young aunties. I was also informed by Christian the banquet manager that this group of auntie were very experience in banquet services. There was no long wait between dishes and the dishes were serve hot. We were extremely happy that our guest had an enjoyable night. The banquet manager Christian was also very helpful and very accommodation, along with staff Eve. We had several last minute changes and they were always ready to help us out. I especially enjoy the after sales as Christian was attending to our request even after our wedding was 2 days ago.

Their All-In package takes care of all parking coupon, printing of cards, wedding favors and even a free 3feet by 2 feet photo to be display on the reception. My guest also commented that the restaurant had a very comfortable and cosy feel. The only downside was that the exterior of the hotel looks old.

I highly recommend FLM for couple looking for around $950 net per table. Christian even gave us a free dinner voucher valid for a year. Those planning for a dinner should really give them a try if u do not mind not having the grand ambiance of a 5 star hotel.
